1967 Fairlane GTA was a factory 390 car but now has a 1963 427 in it. The engine runs excellent and looks fresh, the previous owner claims to have put a bore scope in it and said it was std bore. The engine is backed by a C6 transmission that is also spotless. The body on this car is very straight but has rust in several places where water has gathered as it sat. The structure of the car is excellent as the frame rails, torque boxes, rocker panels etc are in excellent condition. It will need floor pans, some lower qtr patches(the area over the top of the wheel wells looks good), a couple of patches in the trunk area and the hood and deck lid have rust. This is not a salt rusted car that has swollen seams etc. The 427 is fitted with the C7AE 14 bolt heads that are correct for the car along with an Edelbrock Streetmaster intake, Hooker Headers, and an MSD ignition. The engine runs excellent and has a lot of oil pressure, the C6 transmission goes right into gear also. The car has the Kelsey Hayes 4 piston disc brakes and the left front caliper sticks so you will need to at least do the brakes before driving it much. We have just been moving it around the property. The car still has the original bucket seats and console. The wheels are 14" Minilites. This car does not have a title, a previous owner died and it was lost. It comes with an abandoned vehicle report and you will have to get a title through your state or a vehicle title service. It is out of the system in our state and a vin search comes back as "no records found", I had to put clear title in the box above to start the auction.
