Vehicle Detail
This is a very nice driver, ride is excellent, very comfortable to drive, and has an aggressive sound. Unfortunately, it is just a small block 327 with a mild cam and is not a race car. However, it is very enjoyable to drive with cold A/C and a smooth ride. It does have power steering which also helps with comfort while driving. The engine and TH350 3-speed automatic transmission have been rebuilt, less than 3,000 miles on both. As mentioned earlier it is a small block 327 with a mild cam, rebuilt Holley 4-barrel, electronic ignition, Classic Auto Air A/C system. It has black interior, bucket seats with a center console, new in-dash CD/DVD player, new front kick-panel speakers and rear speakers, new carpet, and looks very nice. The seat are in good condition, but could stand to be recovered, they are not torn, but do show some signs of age. The car also has new American Racing wheels and new Bridgestone tires. The paint is driver quality, probably a 7 out of 10. It was painted about 1 1/2 years ago, but the prep on the paint was sub-par and the painter was not very good. However, it still has won some awards at the Car Shows, Top 30 in one show out of about 400 cars. The car has a nice stance and a nice look. The color is one of the most desirable of the Chevelle colors, Marina Blue. It is not a numbers matching car and it is not the original color of the car. It also has a new SS hood with louvers on it to give it a more aggressive look, yet retains all the Malibu emblems. I was going to turn it into an SS clone but decided to just add the hood. I think the SS hood adds a lot to the Malibu look. Just recently had new exhaust installed from the exhaust manifolds out the back, 2 1/2 inch pipe with Series 40 Flowmasters (generic version-built in the same plant as the Flowmasters, can't tell the diffierence), and new chrome tips out the back. It makes the car sound awesome, wish I had done it earlier. I really love this car, but I have a 1968 Camaro SS/RS clone that I'm building and need the money to finish it. Don't really have to sell the car, but am willing to sacrifice it for my Camaro build. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking at my car.. The car is sold as is, where it is. There are no warranties, expressed or implied, available with the car. Transportation is the responsibility of the purchaser. Might be able to deliver for an added fee, depending on location of purchaser and fee negotiation after sale.
