Vehicle Detail

Here we have a great opportunity for an incredible 911. Essentially a body-in-white that you can get in and drive for years or turn it into your own custom project, maybe backdate to a lightweight ST tribute car. The jewel of the car is a 2.7 MFI engine built to RS-spec with Mahle P/Cs, pump built by Pacific Fuel Injection (Gus Pfister) and throttle bodies done by Eurometrix (Matt Blast). Engine also has old school SSIs (not the new Dansk junk) and a custom B&B muffler that is deep and throaty. The car was built to the current owner's spec back in 1988. Bodywork is all steel with factory Turbo front fenders and rear flares welded on. At this time, a new front pan was put in. Turbo Tail is factory. Interior is in good driver condition with typical cracks in the dash. Suspension has 3.5" BOGE struts up front with new SC calipers riding on 7x9x16 Fuchs. 915 shifts smoothly. The only downside to the car is the typical rust forming in the very front sides, under the hood, that should be addressed. A new pan was put in back in 88 and it looks like this started maybe 2-3 years ago. There's also a bit at the driver side A-pillar. Floors, rockers, and most importantly, longitudinals, are all very solid. I am selling this car for a customer of the Porsche independent I worked at years ago. I have 4 cars myself and would buy this car in a heartbeat if I weren't so deep into my 73 restoration and have to paint my M491 this spring. This car is all about the engine. Yes, it has some minor rust but I would rather deal with that than have to build this engine today. There are very few cars like this out there and it would cost a fortune to duplicate. Please ask questions! I will do my best to answer quickly and of course honestly, and can take and send more pics.
