Hello, I am helping some friends of the family sell their 1973 VW Bug. They originally bought this bug back in 1973 down in Pomona, CA. They drove it, each of their four children drove it through high school and college and some how it has made it through without any major accidents or being completely thrashed like most of the junk I see for sale here on Craigslist. The outside of the car has been repainted and I believe I have those receipts in the folder they gave me, the inside was redone back in the 80's and really needs to be done again...If you are just going to drive it and don't care then you're probably fine...I called my interior guys and they were booked till March, so I'm just going to help them sell it as it. The car runs just fine, may want to take it somewhere and have them give it a tune up...it's fine to drive as is, I just think that it could be a little better. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere at the moment...just trying to be honest about the car. It is on Non Op right now, hasn't been driven much since 2012, so no crazy back fees to worry about. I have the original pink slip from when it was first purchased...this is a nice car, at a fair price..give me a call and come take a look if your in the market for a cool little bug.The bug as far as I'm able to see is rust free, the battery tray was replaced some time ago by the same shop that painted the car and they did a good job..it's not just shoved in with screws and caulking like most of them.If you have any questions, want to see the car just let me know.I am not a shipping agent, do no send me questions like "How much to ship it to Nebraska" you can find your own shipper or I've had great luck using http://www.aclasscarriers.com/ if you call them they can give you a quote.
