Hi I am selling a 1988 Jaguar Xjs with 118 k. at NO RESERVE, The engine is running good but has a slight ticking noise ( Lifter noise ) but still drives and shifts great. No overheating Good oil pressure original mileage The front end is in great shape to where if you go over a bump You can't even feel it. I got the car as a trade from someone who was loosing his parking space as a big Chain Hotel Manager . The front seats have splits and tears could use new covers See pictures for details and door panel are in new condition. The car has a freshly rebuilt Rack N pinion. It has 4 brand new BF Goorich tires 235/60/15. about 90% tread left A set of new mufflers Great suspension no noise under neat .Car drives straight and handles very well .Wood streering wheel and cold Ac. Factory radio and speakers. Glass are in beautiful condition. The clear coat on the hood / roof / trunk is peeling off But not bad The car still shines after a good wash. The transmission shifts great without hesitation. A retired Jaguar mechanic told me that the noisy lifter is an easy fix. He drove the car and was impressed by the way it handles on the road..This car is not perfect but is in very drivable condition .With a little TLC and Elbow grease this classic will be a joy for a new owner and a valuable piece of British Classic.
