This is a 1 family-owned truck, purchased by a retired couple in September of 1985 to haul a 12' aluminum fishing boat ONLY! In 1990 the husband passed away and this truck didn't move until 2001 when a family member (brother-in-law) purchased with 32,140 original miles. The original owner said she made a mistake on the title when recording the mileage and wrote 132,140 when transferring over to her family member; nothing was corrected since it stayed in the family. This is the story and unfortunately can not be changed at this point. Due to low compression in 2 cylinders and stuck rings (all per the dealer), a dealer crate 350 motor was installed in late 2001 at a cost of $4100.00. This truck does not show 140,000 miles! I honestly believe the accidental recording of mileage. When purchased new, they installed a bed liner and had Ziebart done. Has normal to below normal dings and very few scratches.
