Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my pride and joy 1970 Plymouth Barracuda. Super Solid nice project car, all the hard word is already done. Body is ready to be block sanded and painted. New deck lid, new trunk pan, new tail panel, new roof, new carpet, new dash cap, new bolt kits, new trunk seal, quarter panels in great shape, new shocks, new gas tank.VIN# BP23L0B177011 I cant say enough good things about the motor, IT SCREAMS, tons of torque, 451 stroker, Muscle Motors Kit, 10:1 comp. ported/polished heads, crane cams roller tip rockers, Almn Ross Racing pistons, balanced and blueprinted, block drilled for Hemi oil pick up, deep pan, steel 440 crank, 850 Demon carb, MSD distributor, coil, and Multi spark ignition, Holley Aluminum intake, chrome alternator, new Hedman thermacoated Hedders, new plugs, new wires, new hoses. The motor is barely broken in with about 600 miles on it. I believe the year on the block is 1971, I built it for a 1970 Road Runner and when I sold the car I kept the motor. Before I put it in the Cuda I tore it down, inspected it, looked like new inside, replaced all the seals and gaskets and dropped it in. The transmission is brand new, 727 tourqueflite TCI streetfighter, with TCI torque converter, 4500 stall, with TRANSBRAKE, 8 3/4 rear end (not sure of the gear). The car doesn't have the fender tag, It is a Gran Coupe but has Cuda parts, has Cuda door panels, hood, ralleys. I also have original Gran Coupe door panels, has an extra gas tank in really good shape. It has a new dash cap but I haven't glued it on yet. Rims are nice, just need a fresh coat of paint. I have not rebuilt the front end yet, I was gonna wait till I had it on the road but I would rebuild it. the undercarriage of the car is good, front floorboards have been replaced years ago and are solid with a couple pin holes, (depending how fancy you wanted to get ya might want to replace them, I wouldn't). Its not perfect but if wanted to make the car a daily driver I wouldn't do anything to it. It all depends on what you wanted to do to the car, you could slap a quick paint job on it and make the car worth $25,000 or you could get down to detail and make it worth tons more, its up to you. Don't like the Sublime green? Well just yank the motor out real quick and paint it whatever color you want. Frame is solid, don't see any rust holes. The front bucket seats need recovered but are complete, back seat has a little tear in it but in good shape, I have all the glass but the windshield got cracked when it was in my attic. I was gonna replace the back window cause someone had "Cuda" etched in the glass. The car was originally a 383 car I believe, has center console, and the rare overhead console, needs headliner. needs some chrome trim pieces, I have the front seats, they need recovered. I don't have the wiper motor. I have set a really really LOW reserve on this car, I just need it out of my garage, I now have 5 children and have no time to work on it. The car can be ready to run in no time, just need to wire up the ignition, fill up radiator, adjust rockers, bolt down valve covers, (probably rebuild carb, been sittin a while), and that's about it. The motor sounds amazing and has all the power I ever wanted, the biggest problem you will have is getting the rear end to hook up. The car is located in central Illinois. I require a $500 paypal deposit within 24 hrs. I have clear title. I would welcome anyone to come and inspect the car before bidding, I am an honest seller with 100% feedback, I want the buyer to be happy with the car. Thanks for looking and I'd be happy to answer any questions.
