The vehicle currently had 81,931 miles and engine hours as of the end of the end of December 2014 when it was removed from service as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle. The vehicle appears to drive well, but the check engine light is illuminated. No diagnosis has been done on this. The tires have approximately 50 - 60% tread remaining. There is no spare tire included with the vehicle. The exterior is in fair condition. The hood has multiple light scratches present. The grill has a couple of areas where it is broken on the passenger side at the point where it meets the hood. Both headlights have condensation present. The front bumper is cracked on the lower area at the driver side. The front license plate frame is cracked / broken on the top. There are multiple light scratches present on the driver door and driver side rear door. There are four (4) plugged & sealed holes present on the roof from where various emergency radio antennas and the light bar power cable was run through. There is paint chipping on the center edge of both sides of the roof from where the light bar was secured to the vehicle. There are light scratches present on the driver side rear quarter panel. There is one (1) plugged & sealed hole in the trunk from where an antenna was previously mount & additional light scratches present. The rear bumper has a large scrape present the passenger side corner. The passenger side rear quarter panel has a long scratch above the wheel well, along with a dent at the leading edge of the wheel well near the enge of the passenger side rear door. The passenger side rear door also has multiple light scratches present. The interior is in good condition. There are two (2) rectangular cutouts in the b-pillar trim from where the center prisoner cage was previously mounted. The backs of both front seatbacks have some small rectangular indentations/tears from the seat rubbing against the prisoner cage when installed. There are four (4) screw holes & a cut in the center portion of the floorboard between the front seats from where the police center console was previously mounted. The rear of the headliner has two (2) rectangular indentations & four (4) small screwholes from where police equipment was previously mounted. This vehicle was serviced on a 60-day preventive maintenance cycle. It was last serviced in Oct 2014 at 78,246 miles. At this service, the battery, both wipers, & the right side headlight bulb were replaced. The right side headlight wiring was also repaired. Other repairs to this vehicle include the following items. In Dec 2014, at 81,927 miles, the left rear wheel rim was straightened. In Aug 2014, at 76,947 miles, the driver side headlight connector, bulb, & the steering rack were replaced. The vehicle also had an alignment completed. In early Aug 2014, at 76,095 miles, the power steering pump was replaced & the air conditioner recharged. In Mar 2014, at 70,198 miles, the neutral safety switch was replaced. In Dec 2013, at 67,341 miles, the right side headlight bulb & connector were replaced. Also, the rear defroster was repaired. In Nov 2013, at 67,313 miles, the vehicle had a recall inspection (#13S08) completed at the local Ford dealership. In early Nov 2013, at 67,120 miles, the wiper blades, shift lever & fuel cap were replaced. Also, the rear defroster connector was repaired. In July 2013, at 61,838 miles, the battery was replaced. In June 2013, at 61,425 miles, the idler puller & belt tensioner were replaced. In Feb 2013, at 56,285 miles, the air conditioner/transmission oil cooler was replaced & the air conditioner refilled. In Nov 2012, at 52,760 miles, the alternator & serpentine belt were replaced. Also in Nov 2012, at 52,693 miles, the radiator cooling fan assembly & relay were replaced. In Sep 2012, at 50,388 miles, the vehicle had an alignment performed. In mid-Sep 2012, at 50,381, the front brake pads & rotors were replaced. In Aug 2012, at 49,039 miles, the passenger airbag disable jewel & third brake light bulbs were replaced. Also in Aug 2012, the water pump was replaced. In Jun 2012, at 45,844 miles, the wiper blades were replaced. Also in Jun 2012, the passenger side exterior mirror assembly, rear brake pads, & rear rotors were replaced. In May 2012, at 44,467 miles the battery was replaced. In Apr 2012, at 43,988 miles, the tires were replaced. In Oct 2011, at 35,751 miles, the dome light was replaced & the switch repaired. In Aug 2011, at 31,666 miles, the right front tire was repaired. In Jun 2011, at 27,469 miles, the dome light was repaired. In early Jun 2011, at 26,434 miles, two tires were replaced. In Apr 2011, at 24,720 miles, the passenger airbag disable jewel was replaced. In Dec 2010, at 18,102 miles, the front brake pads, front rotors, & one tire were replaced. In Oct 2010, at 14,153 miles, the AM/FM radio antenna was repaired. This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location. The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process.
