Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1968 Dodge Charger project that is RUST FREE. It's a running driving project that I have had for a while now but, I won't have time to finish the car the way it should be finished! It has a 383 with a 4 barrel carb and a 727 automatic trans. The car starts right up and runs pretty good. The car drives decent and the trans shifts good. The engine and trans are sealed up good, but the drivers side head has a leaking freeze plug. The car has been sitting for years in the dry desert, which is why the floors are rock solid. The trunk looks good but, somebody in the past replaced the center of the trunk pan. the roof looks good, hood looks good, but the rear quarters have seen better days and I would plan on replacing them. As you can see in the pictures the older gentleman I bought the car from decided he liked the 69 taillights better than the 68 ones so, replaced them with 69 tail lights. The car is a running project, and I have a clean title for the car. The car will be sold to the highest bidder, No Reserve!! I have some extra parts that go with the car that I have collected for it, like working headlight door canisters, chrome trim, and some other odds and ends. The windows roll up and down in the car, the doors open and close ok. The car needs a complete restoration and is not a weekend project. Yes, you could have it road worthy in a day and make it a driving project. I do not have a front grille for the car as it did not have one when I bought it. Under the hood is pretty much unmolested, and the car does have the correct B body exhaust manifolds. There is a data tag also and the codes are as follows..54/1/11/16/50/4/c6x/LL1/ XP29/41/5/43/425... as that is all I can make out as it has some rust damage to the tag. The car is a PROJECT, and is being sold "AS IS" due to it's age. The car can be inspected anytime before the auction ends. The winning bidder has 24 hours to pay a $1000 non refundable deposit for the car through Paypal. The remaining balance must be paid within 3 business days, and the final payment can be made with a cashiers check, bank check, wire transfer or cash in person. The car must be picked up within 2 weeks of the auction closing. My zip code for shipping quotes is 89131. The shipping is the responsibility of the winning bidder. Good Luck!
