Vehicle Detail
This is one very cool Arizona shop truck. We were planning on using this as our company truck but have gone another way. This mostly original truck was sold new in Prescott, AZ. Still has a lot of original paint with absolutely great patina. Runs, drives, and looks awesome. There are some dents here and there and like almost every one of these trucks it has rust in the rockers, but with the overall look of this truck it really works. It is super dry and has spent it's entire life in the Arizona sun. No rust anywhere else that I know of. The bed floor is in good original condition. Even the original tail gate is good enough to use. The truck has been professionally lowered with McNaughty drop spindles and springs in the front and re-arched leaf springs in the rear by Dunbar Springs. New shocks front and rear. The truck has brand new staggered 20" Riddler wheels and new tires that look great. This truck can be driven comfortably as it is with no wheel rub. The original parts can be included to go back to the stock height. The engine is the original 250 c.i. inline six with a manual four speed on the floor. Factory disc brakes in the front. It runs and drives good as it is. I really like the 6 cylinder but the 250 uses the same motor mounts as a V8 so it would be super easy to give this truck some extra power with a small or big block. The interior is nice. New seat and carpet. All the gauges work. The armrests are worn but they are reproduced. Overall this truck is a cool patina-styled shop truck. It has a great look and a lot of vintage charm. A deposit of $1000 is due within 48 hours of the end of auction. The remainder is due within 7 days. Shipping is the buyer's responsibility but we will help as we can. We load containers headed to Sweden and Scandinavia with cars and parts every month from our shop in downtown Phoenix and can help arrange shipping to Europe. We have been in business for over 28 years restoring classic cars and trucks and have a huge 25,000sf facility in the heart of Phoenix. We do everything from body and paint to upholstery, and have many great mechanics working for us. We can do work on the truck for the new buyer if wanted before it ships. Please email with all questions. We welcome visitors and the truck can be viewed at our shop. We have been in business in Phoenix, Arizona since 1986 and except for doing high quality restorations on cars, mostly from 1957-65 we have also exported loads of older cars to around 20 different countries all over the world during the last 28 years. So if you live outside of the US we can probably help with the shipping, North Korea might be a problem but most any other place will work fine. We ship mostly from the Long Beach, California or Houston, Texas. We can also often help arranging transport within the US for domestic buyers. Check out our website! Copperstate Classic Cars in Phoenix, Arizona. Our shop is full of interesting and fun restoration jobs and we have capacity to take on a few more! On Dec-13-14 at 13:05:51 PST, seller added the following information: Please note, we just spent $2800 on the 4 new 20" tires and rims, drop spindles, redoing the rear springs, shocks, interior, windshield etc and we still have a super low reserve. We did buy the truck to use it for a shop truck but just after we bought it we found a one owner Gen 2 Dodge Ram with Cummins Diesel and a 6 speed trans so it is our shop truck now. We are suckers for a nice Dodge Cummins truck! We don't need the Chevy truck so it is being sold really cheap!
