This is a WCM Ultralite #1 also known as a Super 7. This handmade Ultralite is #1 of only 85 made at the Texas factory by the well known creator and designer Brian Anderson. This is the one that made all of the auto magazines when it first came out in 2001. I have included one of the articles in the picture section for your review. It is a USA manufactured based best of breed Super 7 that can accommodate someone who is as tall as 6'5" and 250lbs down to 5' tall 90 lbs with a fully adjustable peddle assembly that rides on a track 12" long. All aluminum Kirkey racing seats are currently 17" wide but the chassis allows the owner to install two 19" wide seats. I am 6'1" and 210 and it fits me like a glove. The removable Steering wheel has a quick release latch for ease of entry, exit or theft prevention. This car really fly's, 0 to 60mph in 3.9 seconds, and corners like you can only experience in a formula car. This Ultralite weights only 1079 lbs and it brakes from100 mph to 0 in 100 feet, just like a F1 car. What is even better is that it is registered and licensed in California as a 1966 Lotus which equates to no smog and low insurance premiums. I am paying $265 a year. The Chassis is a Space frame design with an aluminum and fiberglass body. The entire bonnet lifts forward and opens on a hinge at the front just like an XKE to allow ease of maintenance, see images. This is one of the funniest cars to drive even at 30 mph. Everyone smiles when they see it. And yet it is extremely well built and designed for around town or if desired extreme canyon carving that can harass the best motorcycles or 911's up in the twisties. Very comfortable and runs on regular pump gas. With an aluminum fuel cell for safety and five point belts to hold you in when you are flying down the road. Two Brookland shields to keep the bugs out of you and your passengers teeth. A lovely all aluminum Crate engine producing around 170 hp from Jasper Engineering that incorporates a Bullfrog fully ported and polished head with a handmade 4.5 quart wet sump with only 5011 miles on it. An RX7 5 speed transmission and a Fidanza aluminum and balanced flywheel. Dual DCOE 152 Webers carbs. Handmade cermanic coated headers and exhaust sounds great. Hemispherical joints are every where to keep the suspensions aligned and straight. Aluminum fully adjustable gas shocks with hypercoil springs at each corner gives one a great ride. LSD differential keeps the driver from favoring left over right turns. Everywhere you look there is special this and handmade that on the car. I love the machine turned dash and the well chosen mag wheels. All in all it is just a well built entertaining car to drive or to just look at. And this little sexy happy car has only has 5011 miles on it since new. With only 85 made in the USA these WCM Ultralites don't come up for sale often so do yourself a favor and just Buy it Now.
