Vehicle Detail

I do have the PHS on this car. I also have the NY state registration for car in my name, ready to transfer to new owner. NY did NOT issue title for cars until I believe 1972 and as such the registration is proof of ownership. Built and sold in California, the car was brought to the WNY by a mechanic sometime late 80's early 90's. Incredibly original body, rust and rot free underneath, this would make a great restoration or drive as it is original. The one time I took this time capsule to a local show, an all day stream of visitors gathered to gaze in wonder while the guy with the restored 65 GTO next to me wondered why he bothered. This car does have it's original engine, and the stamped block code 22B and serial number 363S40859 on block match PHS documentation. Original T-10 4 speed and 4 barrel setup have been removed and replaced as described below. Car was heavily optioned, including the upgraded Ventura trim package, power brakes, and the seldom seen gauge cluster and rare working AM/FM radio. Clock not working, but oil and water temp gauges do, although I can't attest to their accuracy. Refer to the pic of window sticker for complete list of options. Looks like a 64 Pontiac tri-power was previously installed, which I sent out in 2006 and had fully restored by expert builder Mike's Tripower in Indiana. Also added sometime before I bought car were a Muncie 4 speed transmission. The original 3:42 gear set was swapped for what I believe are 4:10's, and the original 4 barrel carb and manifold, T-10 transmission, and 3:42's are all long gone. I don't know if the Muncie is a M-20 or M-21 but it's certainly not an M-22, although it pulls like one. I have no way to verify but was told by seller I bought from that a previous owner had bored out the block .30 over. During the 2 weeks and maybe 150 miles driven, I have no reason to doubt this, the car is wicked fast and fun. The following work was done in 2006: New brakes, including lines and master cylinder New reproduction gas tank and sending unit Extensive engine compartment detailing Car has been largely parked for at least the past 30 years, but starts and runs fine. Besides the well worn and faded horizontal body panel surface rust, the condition of body is truly remarkable. All body panels, except for a small 1x2" area on right side rocker above molding, are rot, dent and fiberglass free, with no evidence of previous body damage anywhere on car. There are a handful of hardly visible small dings on body and one or two small dings on body side mouldings. Look at pics and see the original paint still adorns the wheels wells and underside of both doors. Odometer reads 71,170 and looks true. Car looks to have the retains what appears to be all of the original interior and trunk splatter paint. Interior in excellent shape considering 50 years of life. Even the steering wheel and dash pad are in incredible condition. Engine compartment and block have been cleaned and touched up. A previous owner modified the original 15' wheels, widened to accommodate wider tires. Car starts right up, runs, drives, and stops nicely but has not been registered nor driven since 2006, which was when I bought the car. I registered and drove car for a couple weeks before parking it in the garage and sending out the (not original) tripower for restoration by Mike's Tripower in Indiana. As pictured, I have the original California black license plate, owner's manual, and protecto-plate. Also included are a collection of original 1963 Pontiac sales literature. Pictured but NOT INCLUDED, are boxes and boxes of used and NOS parts for the car. Winning bidder is welcome to present a fair offer for parts if desired at close of auction. Again, any parts seen in pics are NOT included in winning bid. Some of the parts include headlight and taillight bezels, door handles, grills, 421 badges, and moldings. Numbers matching 4 bbl manifold, complete power steering setup and trunk jack. Hard to find NOS antenna mast and bezel, NOS oil temp sending unit and driver door rearview mirror. 4 factory 15' steel wheels complete with hub cap clips. Lots of extra chrome and moldings. If you're winning bidder and interested in parts and make fair offer at auction close, they are yours. If not interested I'll list on parts on Ebay, after auction closes. This car is sold as is, where is with no warranty. As a used car no guarantees are made as to condition. As stated the car is not insured nor registered and as such can not be test driven on street. On Dec-01-14 at 14:13:04 PST, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention in vehicle description that car was equipped from factory with dual exhaust, both tailpipes are no longer on or with the car. Also of note is that one of the mufflers has been patch welded. I will not end auction early nor am I willing to accept any trades. On Dec-01-14 at 16:24:18 PST, seller added the following information: Full phone number I can be reached for any questions is 716-257-3264, sorry for any confusion. On Dec-02-14 at 14:31:17 PST, seller added the following information: If you'd like to see pic of stamped serial and engine code numbers on block, email me and I will send you copy. On Dec-03-14 at 06:30:49 PST, seller added the following information: Please note that this car is 50+ years old and still has all the original chrome, much of which is fading and pitting, including both bumpers. There is a small dent on the front bumper, back looks dent free. As stated in the description above, I have many used and NOS parts, including chrome, but no bumpers. I'm compiling a list and the parts will be offered in one lot to winning bidder at auction conclusion. I will not sell them before auction closes. I have and can take additional pictures with my crappy camera of the car's undercarriage or anything else you desire. Also have pics of the PHS paperwork, protecto-plate, and sales literature. Email me if you'd like any copies sent to you. Potential buyers should understand the car has been largely parked(indoors) for many years and is not perfect, and I encourage prospective bidders or their representative to inspect the car in person before bidding. Thanks for the interest and good luck if bidding! On Dec-05-14 at 15:16:40 PST, seller added the following information: Today I shot a couple videos of the car being started, moved out of garage and idling. Also itemized list w/prices of parts I have available. If interested send an email with "videos/parts" in the subject line and I'll send them to you asap.
