Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a 2001 Kia Sportage EX 4-wheel-drive SUV. 116,000 miles. It has a 4-cylinder engine with a 5-speed manual 4X4 transmission. The car is located at the auction we purchased it at because it would not start. The engine cranks and turns over, and sounds good, but there is no spark. Probably a computer sensor or coil pack, but we can't be sure. Otherwise it is in very good shape. The clutch feels good and the gears shift smoothly from what we can tell. The 4-wheel-drive selector moves freely between Hi & Low range. The body has some very light surface rust and some minor chipping, but no holes or other issues - looks good. The interior is clean and in good shape, but the front seats have some stains. It has ice cold A/C, a nice factory AM/FM CD stereo, steering wheel controls, trip computer, and power windows, locks, mirrors. If you're looking for a small 4-wheel-drive SUV to fix up for a nice winter ride, for a really great price, bid now, no reserve! We may be able to arrange delivery on this vehicle. Please contact us with your needs. We have fully inspected this vehicle and have honestly disclosed everything we have found, however no inspection is perfect and sometimes things are missed. Please read the description and look at the pictures carefully. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Thanks for your interest and good luck! On Dec-01-14 at 09:04:28 PST, seller added the following information: Sorry when I was listing the options I used the phrase "ice cold A/C." Although we were told by the auction that everything worked in the car when it ran, we did not verify the air conditioning ourselves and so we cannot be sure that it works. The car has the option "A/C" but there is no way for us to know if it is "ice cold." I put a lot of ads online last night so sorry for the slip. On Dec-01-14 at 19:49:04 PST, seller added the following information: Just to be completely clear and so there can be no possibility of any confusion, I would like to repeat that we are selling this car "as-is," and it does not start when cranked. When I say above that it "sounds good," I mean the engine cranks and turns over and sounds normal while cranking. When I refer to the gears shifting smoothly and the 4X4 selector moving freely, I mean the gear and 4X4 selectors move freely through all their gears and positions with the engine off and while the clutch is depressed and it "feels normal." Thanks for your interest. On Dec-02-14 at 05:54:44 PST, seller added the following information: The car is completely paid for, including all auction fees, and the title is in our dealership's name. It is ready to be picked up at the auction, all we have to do is let them know you are coming. On Dec-05-14 at 15:53:57 PST, seller added the following information: We just received the title from the auction and we must disclose that the mileage on the title is marked "TMU" or Not Actual Miles. We did not know about this when we listed the vehicle. Sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks.
