You are bidding on a 1972 Mercedes 280 sel longwheelbase. Considering the condition of the car I would guess it is the origional milage on the odometer. The car does have a salvage title and i dont know why, no evidence of accidents or theft or any other issues. I have owned the car for the past maybe 6-7 years and i drove it around everyday with no issues until I parked it two years ago. Since i have many cars there was no need to drive this car. Now the engine runs a little rough should be a vacume leak somewhere no time to confirm. transmission shifts smooth, the suspension feels tight and drives well other than the fact there is a vacume leak. Body is very straight other than a couple of dents as you can see in the pics., zero rust and most of the car looks to have the origional paint. interior is origional and looks to be in great shape for its age. No tears on the seats and i should have the headrests aswell. Please take a look at all the pictures and ask as many questions before bidding so you feel confident.
