1948 Ford F-6 dump truck Repairs and maintenance performed within past 10 years 07/15/2004 -Replaced rear left brake cylinder -Replaced rear left axle seal -Brake master cylinder flush and service with new fluid 10/11/2007 -Replaced entire exhaust system aft of exhaust manifolds. -Removed, inspected and rebuilt radiator -Replaced both water pumps with new “High Flow” water pumps for better engine cooling. -Replaced both upper radiator hoses. -Ignition system tune-up including new sparkplugs, points and condenser and timing adjustment. -Installed vacuum reserve tank beneath driver’s running board for two speed axle shifting. -$14,386 invested to date To the best of my knowledge, all original condition other than the electrical system converted to 12v. Engine now starts easily in all weather and temperatures. Guages and lights all work. Truck is a lot of fun to drive and operates reliably Attached pictures are dated but still represent present condition of truck with the following exceptions. -Slight fade in paint with several very small surface rust spots especially along the drip edge or rain gutter above doors. -Rust spots at seams between lower and upper front fenders have progressed with bubbled paint in those two areas. Each about the size of a dollar bill. -Small rust thru hole about the size of a quarter on right front fender where it meets the running board. -Two speed rear end sometimes does not shift into high range easily. Vacuum system operates normally but linkage needs lubrication.Buyer responsible for delivery or shipping expenses.
