1967 Mustang Convertible Shelby Clone with power top and power steering. This car is a driver and is garage kept. I purchased this car in 1999 since that time I have added many of the Shelby features including the shelby extended fiberglass hood, hood pins and nose section with center headlights and grille. Fiberglass trunk lid and rear quarter caps, side scoops (non-functional) and taillight panel with original cougar taillight lens. The interior has the roll bar from (Tony Branda) aluminum dash panels and comfort weave seat covers. I have had the floor panels replaced as well as the coil springs, leaf springs and brakes. The 14" Magstar wheels are original and are in average condition with some pitting. I believe the drive train is original but I am not sure. I have included a copy of a letter I received from Ford explaining how the car was originally shipped. The car was painted in 2004 since that time it has some cracks in the paint as well as chips and some rust. This year I replaced the convertible top, radiator, had a front end alignment, replaced the battery, the valve covers, chrome air cleaner and one tire. This car is NOT a shelby but I have added thousands of dollars in shelby parts. It is NOT a show car. However, if you are looking to build a shelby clone allot of the expensive Shelby parts and installation have already been done.
