Black 1978 Chevrolet Corvette, 92,900 miles, T-top, Saffron interior, 350 Cu In Eng. Turbo 350 Transmission, Posi (one of 382 that year). One of a few that escaped the factory with the saffron interior that was not cataloged that year. I picked this up from my friend that was in the hospital and needed money in the beginning of 2002. Paid him $3500.The car had 85k miles then so it didn't get driven much since then. It has a salvaged title due to some front end damage and stolen T-tops that let some weather in. I put in carpet and replaced the worn door panels and correct color leather seats. Had it sprayed with House of Color black and clear coated but did not have it "cut and buffed" There is some artwork in the paint and a few chips etc from my daughter who used it to go to school over the years. Car runs and drives fine. Passes smog regularly. Has smog certification for you California buyers. Did stainless lined calipers and stainless park brake shoes a few years ago. Lights, wipers work. Has a little exhaust leak that goes away when warmed up. The AC does not work but the parts are there. Speedo is starting to bounce. Clock and water temp gauge don't work. The tires have some flat spotting because it sits so much and there is some cracking. Hold air fine. I have a car cover and a few parts that that go with the car that I never seem to have the time to get to. Bidding starts at $1500.00 with no reserve! Please read the listing carefully.
