Vehicle Detail

Really Nice Final year Model Ford Country Squire! I've owned this Wagon for almost 10 Years. The car was bought from the original California owner. Still have the California plates from when the car was new. ALWAYS garage-kept! Only selling it because it never gets driven and should get the chance to be enjoyed by someone. It listed for $22,653.00 back in 91 ( I have a copy of the original window sticker ) Totally Loaded with options. Even has a Driver-side air-bag. Drives very good. Original paint and wood grain. I did have a local trim shop recover the outer rails that go along the wood grain. These always peeled within a few years and were never really perfected by Ford. The covering is Di-noc material as used by the car companies originally. Expensive stuff. I would say the shop did an Average job. Not perfect, but good. They just didn't get all the corners tucked to my liking. Much better than leaving it tho. Just don't want to say the car is perfect. I'd give it a strong 8 out of ten. Nicer than most that are left today. And this is the 8-passenger model with the jump-seats in the back. The tires have less than 300 miles on them. The Cast Aluminum wheels are super clean. Interior very nice. The air-conditioning will at least need a charge or re-fill. I think from being stored so many years, the Freon evaporated. The unit worked great when I first got the car. So, I don't feel much would need to be done. The am/fm stereo cd player works fine, but the power antenna's internal base is broke. The power antenna works, but I've always just kept it half-way up to keep it firmly straight. Again, it's not a problem, but wanted to mention it. A new antenna is still available for about $60 if this would be something you wanted to make perfect. And the original owner scraped the Driver-side Rear Bumper on his garage door. This made the bumper- filler pushed-in some. ( I took 2 pictures to show ) You might not even notice it if you weren't looking for it, but want to describe any defect that I am aware of. Local inspections are most Welcome! You could fly-in and drive this car home pretty-much anywhere. Feel free to e-mail any questions. I'm Always open to a " buy it now " offer. The reserve is low. And if you want to know it, just e-mail me and I'll be glad to tell you. The car is for sale locally as well, so I want to state that in case I need to end the auction early. No warranty is being offered or implied. My 100 PERCENT POSITIVE Feed-Back of 11 Years should speak for itself. OPTIONS: Power windows, seats, locks, mirrors, tilt wheel, am/fm cd player, cruise control, cornering lamps, Aluminum wheels, AND New in the box never used Heavy duty trailer harness for towing ( retailed for $405.00 back in 91 ! )
