Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4. The Jeep Grand Cherokee is a remarkably popular SUV that is known around the world as a rugged and reliable 4x4. I would rate the exterior of this Jeep to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking Jeep. It is finished in bright red (which is a great color on these) and shows well for its age. The finish shines nicely and looks smooth. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few imperfections on the exterior commensurate with age and mileage. The body lines up nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. The windshield is cracked and will most likely need replaced in order to pass safety inspection in most states. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. I would rate the interior of this Jeep to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. It could use a little cleaning but isn't bad. The door panels show minor wear, as you'd expect. The carpets also show a few stains from age but are presentable. The seats show well and are comfortable. The cargo area is spacious and clean. The dash and headliner show well for their age, too. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The wood interior accents are all intact and give the interior a nice look. The original cassette radio does not turn on. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The heater does an excellent job at keeping the interior warm. It has been too cold to tell whether the air conditioner is effective or not. The original owners manuals are included. Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running condition. The optional 5.2L V8 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any major leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent for an old Jeep. The suspension feels nice and tight. The steering is precise and responsive, not all loose and rattly like many of these get as they age. The brakes feel good, too. The engine keeps excellent oil pressure and perfect temperature. There was a check engine light on for "evap incorrect flow". I cleared the code to see if it would come back during my road test. It hasn't come back yet but may appear again at some point in the future. The only thing I can see that this Jeep needs mechanically is a rear end. The rear is noisy. In my experience, a good used rear end can be sourced from a wrecked one for about $300 and takes a garage around 3 hours to swap...so not too bad. It can be driven the way it is...probably for a few months depending on how much you drive. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly without any issues. The Quadra-Trac 4WD system is tested and working properly. Just keep in mind that you'll have to spend about $500 to replace the rear end...but you'll have a fantastic Grand Cherokee when you're finished. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4. The Jeep Grand Cherokee is a remarkably popular SUV that is known around the world as a rugged and reliable 4x4. I would rate the exterior of this Jeep to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking Jeep. It is finished in bright red (which is a great color on these) and shows well for its age. The finish shines nicely and looks smooth. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few imperfections on the exterior commensurate with age and mileage. The body lines up nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. The windshield is cracked and will most likely need replaced in order to pass safety inspection in most states. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around.
I would rate the interior of this Jeep to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. It could use a little cleaning but isn't bad. The door panels show minor wear, as you'd expect. The carpets also show a few stains from age but are presentable. The seats show well and are comfortable. The cargo area is spacious and clean. The dash and headliner show well for their age, too. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The wood interior accents are all intact and give the interior a nice look. The original cassette radio does not turn on. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The heater does an excellent job at keeping the interior warm. It has been too cold to tell whether the air conditioner is effective or not. The original owners manuals are included.
Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running condition. The optional 5.2L V8 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any major leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent for an old Jeep. The suspension feels nice and tight. The steering is precise and responsive, not all loose and rattly like many of these get as they age. The brakes feel good, too. The engine keeps excellent oil pressure and perfect temperature. There was a check engine light on for "evap incorrect flow". I cleared the code to see if it would come back during my road test. It hasn't come back yet but may appear again at some point in the future. The only thing I can see that this Jeep needs mechanically is a rear end. The rear is noisy. In my experience, a good used rear end can be sourced from a wrecked one for about $300 and takes a garage around 3 hours to swap...so not too bad. It can be driven the way it is...probably for a few months depending on how much you drive. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly without any issues. The Quadra-Trac 4WD system is tested and working properly. Just keep in mind that you'll have to spend about $500 to replace the rear end...but you'll have a fantastic Grand Cherokee when you're finished. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.

There is additional risk in purchasing a vehicle this way versus buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been fully serviced and has a warranty. You will pay considerably less this way, but understand our vehicles are sold AS-IS and do not carry any kind of warranty.
