This beautiful 1968 Coupe deVille was purchased at a Caddy dealership by my grandfather in Menlo Park CA in 1968 and has been in the family ever since. The title for the car is clear and in-hand. The car spent most of its life in CA and TX and has been garaged all of its life. The car was repainted its original color of arctic blue in 1990 and a new vinyl top and headliner were also added in 1990. Other than that, the car is in original condition. It has 4 new tires, a newly tuned up engine, a new starter motor, a new alternator and has been running great all summer. The condition of the paint job from 1990 is exceptional, with only a few chips in the front of the hood above the grill and a few small areas of bubbling in the back quarter panels. The chrome is in good shape with minimal pitting. The leather in the back seat is in excellent condition and the leather up front is worn but useable. Lap belts in front and back seats and shoulder harness belts in the back installed this summer. The dash and carpet/floor mats are all original and in excellent shape. The back rear windows do not work and the locking mechanism in the driver's side door does not currently work but likely could be fixed with a little attention. The car has AC but it has been disconnected. Heat works great, as does the radio, electric seats, all lights and other functions of the car. Original VIN owners plate and books accompany the car. A fun driver that turns heads that can also be taken to a local car show and enjoyed. Bidders must have full purchase price of the car in hand at time of sale.
