Here is a 1981 GS1100E for you to consider. Very clean and ready to ride. list of new parts includes: Chain and sprockets, rear tire, carb boots, valve cover gasket, grips, bar ends(throttle side not installed yet), battery, seat cover. Also included: backrest, crash bars , throttle cruise control, new oem 1100 side badges(these are gold color) Bike runs excellent once warmed up, it is cold blooded. Does not smoke or leak any oil. The tach works but will need a new cable. Has a mechanical tach that works for a while when you take off one end of cable and reinstall it. All lights and signals work as they should. New battery is not oem replacement and does not have low voltage lead for light on dash, so that light stays on. Clutch has been replaced with performance one and lever pull is heavier than stock and works as it should. Tranny shifts smoothly. Brakes work as they should, slight pulsing from front, rotors probably slightly warped, not bad though. Cosmetically in very good shape, tank is dent free and clean inside, outside of tank has some rust as shown in pictures. plastic panels all intact, right side panel is off 750 of same year and color. Pipes are dent free originals with some surface rust. Bike has aftermarket oil cooler. If you are interested in bidding please ask any questions you may have before doing so.
