Barn find 1966 Corvair Convertible 140 HP Automatic. I was told the car ran when it was parked approximately 3 years ago, but it is not running now. It has had the carburetor and distributor removed, but everything else is there. The original 4 carbs were removed and replaced with a custom 4 barrell intake. Still have the original air cleaner. The brakes do not function. I was told the brake cylinders and pads were removed to use on another car. Have a set of used cylinders and brake pads with car. Also, I was told the parking brake cable was removed from the car. All class is in good condition. Seats have tears but the frames of the seats in good condition. Top frame is in good condition and does not appear rusted through anywhere, but the top material has mostly fallen off. The car has rust in the trunk pan, right door lower door jamb, lower right corner of windshield, and in lower parts of doors and fenders. Fender and door rust is not significant. It is just bubbles in the paint. Trunk panel and hood are in very nice condition. Bumpers are great core parts. While the car has some rust, it is not completely rust out. Original 140 HP air cleaner included. This would make a great project or has many usable parts. All four corner shakers are in car. The car is complete less the parts noted above that are missing. I have a keys and a clear TN title. 11-05-14 Additional information about the car. I do have 4 original carburetors that go with the car. One carb is disassembled, one is rebuilt, and the other two are assembled but have not been rebuilt. Includes new carb kits for rebuilding the carbs. The engine does turn and is not locked up. Right rear seat floor pan has some rust, but other floor pans look good. Engine compartment area shows no rust.
