My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1990 Volvo 245 with just 149k miles. The Volvo 242/244/245 is one of the most reliable cars on the road. In fact, anything that Volvo made that has a "4" in the middle of its name is capable of going a million+ miles. I would rate the exterior of this 245 to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. While there is no noteworthy damage on the exterior of this Volvo, the blue paint is faded from age. The hood and left fender still have a nice shine. Perhaps the rest of the car would polish up and look the same if you were inclined to put that much work into making a 25 year old Volvo shine again. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. All four original wheel covers are present. The tires have good tread all around. I would also rate the interior of this Volvo to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you'd expect with an Volvo of this vintage, many of the interior plastics are either missing or broken. The speaker in the drivers door needs new screws as the existing ones are broken and it does not stay in place. The power windows all work. The carpets actually don't look bad for the age of the car. The drivers seat is torn in one spot, which isn't bad for its age. The rest of the seats show pretty well. The dash shows a few cracks, which is normal. The cargo area is spacious and clean. The stereo is original. The heater works well. This car is a/c equipped but I doubt it works anymore. Both front seats are heated. Mechanically, this car seems to run and drive fine. Please be sure to read this entire paragraph... The 2.3L four cylinder engine starts easily and runs well. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are pretty good for an old car. You can feel a little wear in the front bushings but nothing terrible. The steering and brakes feel good. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The check engine light is on...no idea why. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly but DOES NOT go into overdrive. I know these old transmissions have an external electronic overdrive. If you know more about these old transmissions than I do, you may know just what to do to fix this. I have no idea. She gets around just fine without overdrive but I wouldn't expect to go out and do 80mph on the highway. I've run her at 60 and she doesn't seem to mind too much. She drives pretty well. This Volvo has a PA Reconstructed Title. Before everyone asks, I have absolutely no idea of the history of this car or what may or may not have happened. Obtaining a Reconstructed Title in PA (as well as most states) is not easy. A car must be completely rebuilt and pass normal annual safety inspection as well as a much more in depth enhanced inspection that can only be performed by specially trained inspectors. The title I have for this car is dated from 2005 so this Volvo was issued a Reconstructed Title at least 9 years ago, perhaps longer ago than that. The point is that this car has been on the road continuously for at least 9 years since being issued a Reconstructed Title. Chances are that any possible long term issues which may have come up would have already come up. This car is a fresh trade from a New Chevy Dealer right here in Central PA and has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of 2014. If you're looking for basic, reliable transportation...one of these cars is ideal. They are inexpensive to buy and even more inexpensive to maintain. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1990 Volvo 245 with just 149k miles. The Volvo 242/244/245 is one of the most reliable cars on the road. In fact, anything that Volvo made that has a "4" in the middle of its name is capable of going a million+ miles. I would rate the exterior of this 245 to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. While there is no noteworthy damage on the exterior of this Volvo, the blue paint is faded from age. The hood and left fender still have a nice shine. Perhaps the rest of the car would polish up and look the same if you were inclined to put that much work into making a 25 year old Volvo shine again. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. All four original wheel covers are present. The tires have good tread all around.
I would also rate the interior of this Volvo to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you'd expect with an Volvo of this vintage, many of the interior plastics are either missing or broken. The speaker in the drivers door needs new screws as the existing ones are broken and it does not stay in place. The power windows all work. The carpets actually don't look bad for the age of the car. The drivers seat is torn in one spot, which isn't bad for its age. The rest of the seats show pretty well. The dash shows a few cracks, which is normal. The cargo area is spacious and clean. The stereo is original. The heater works well. This car is a/c equipped but I doubt it works anymore. Both front seats are heated.
Mechanically, this car seems to run and drive fine. Please be sure to read this entire paragraph... The 2.3L four cylinder engine starts easily and runs well. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are pretty good for an old car. You can feel a little wear in the front bushings but nothing terrible. The steering and brakes feel good. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The check engine light is on...no idea why. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly but DOES NOT go into overdrive. I know these old transmissions have an external electronic overdrive. If you know more about these old transmissions than I do, you may know just what to do to fix this. I have no idea. She gets around just fine without overdrive but I wouldn't expect to go out and do 80mph on the highway. I've run her at 60 and she doesn't seem to mind too much. She drives pretty well. This Volvo has a PA Reconstructed Title. Before everyone asks, I have absolutely no idea of the history of this car or what may or may not have happened. Obtaining a Reconstructed Title in PA (as well as most states) is not easy. A car must be completely rebuilt and pass normal annual safety inspection as well as a much more in depth enhanced inspection that can only be performed by specially trained inspectors. The title I have for this car is dated from 2005 so this Volvo was issued a Reconstructed Title at least 9 years ago, perhaps longer ago than that. The point is that this car has been on the road continuously for at least 9 years since being issued a Reconstructed Title. Chances are that any possible long term issues which may have come up would have already come up. This car is a fresh trade from a New Chevy Dealer right here in Central PA and has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of 2014. If you're looking for basic, reliable transportation...one of these cars is ideal. They are inexpensive to buy and even more inexpensive to maintain. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning Bidders:

Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.
