Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix, GXP edition, with the V8 5.3L engine and automatic transmission. The car has leather seats, power accessories (windows, locks, mirrors), NAVIGATION radio, Heads Up Display on windshield. Has 117,466 miles. **DISCLOSURE** This vehicle is an unclaimed police impound, up for public online auction here on Ebay. Per State of Ohio rules, this vehicle is sold with a salvage title by the tow company. Your state may require an inspection by a state agency prior to being able to get plates and put car on the road. (Ohio DOES require such an inspection, its a $53 fee to get inspected by Ohio State Patrol ) I do NOT know the car's history, as we are just the tow company that towed and stored the vehicle for the police. The owner did not claim the vehicle, and the vehicle became property of our company to resell to recoup our tow/storage fees. Again, the reason the car has a salvage title is only because it was a police impound. It was NOT towed from an accident scene, just a traffic stop where it was impounded for law enforcement purposes only. Buyer will receive signed/notarized Ohio salvage title for vehicle upon payment in full of selling price. Condition: Vehicle runs and drives. No test drives available due to no plates or insurance. Some minor marks here and there, nothing major. One condition to note is that the "Service ABS/TRACTION/STABILITY " messages are on. I have pulled the code with a scan tool, which indicates that the right front wheel speed sensor is erratic. This means one of two things. Either it needs a new hub with integrated speed sensor, and/or the wire harness to this sensor has gone bad. Both of which are common problems. A wire harness is under $75, and a speed sensor is around $150, plus applicable labor at a shop. If you are unable to test the wire harness, I'd suggest just replacing the harness and sensor and being done with it. Payment: I will accept a $250.00 deposit via credit card, but the balance must be paid in cash (if in person), or with an official bank check. No personal or business checks accepted. Title will be released immediately for cash sales, or held for 7 days if paying with bank check. Easiest way to do this is to come pick it up in person, pay with cash, and leave with the car and the title on the spot. This car (with a clean title) would be valued at well over $9,000. Check NADA and KBB for yourself. This car will sell at a substantial savings, with NO RESERVE. Happy Bidding and good luck. High bid will buy this car. Shipping: We no longer set up long distance carriers here, but will work with your carrier of choice to facilitate getting it picked up and transported to you. Call or email with any questions. Please feel free to CALL me (Chris) with any questions you may have @ 330-953-0950 (9-5 Mon-Fri), or email me through ebay anytime. I can respond from my cell phone.
