Offered for sale is a beautiful, rare and well-documented one owner from new 1973 Porsche 914 desirably optioned with a targa roof and 5 speed manual transmission. It is finished in, factory correct orange, over its mostly original black leatherette interior. Seats were recently recovered in a tasteful vinyl (near perfect match). Originally ordered and delivered in Eugene Oregon in 1973 upon completion of graduate school. It was promptly driven to the bay area, where it lived till 1994. It served as a daily driver for most of these years. It then moved to Tucson, AZ where it lived since. Since this time it has been driven sparingly. Residing nearly full time in garage out of the sun’s rays. Paint was refreshed in the early 90’s in northern California. Today is shows well, with minor imperfection noticeable only under close inspection. Vehicle presents with no rust on chassis itself. There is evidence on outer rocker sills. It is minor and these are a bolt on part. Engine was rebuild at approximately 100k, again in norcal by a local Porsche specialist. Recent fuel pump, battery, tune, etc. Ready for new owner. Has no known service needs. Starts, runs & drives as it should. All in all this is a honest dead straight vehicle that would be hard to duplicate at 3 times its cost today. Minor details will bring this vehicle to a show level vehicle. Vehicle is for sale locally. In person inspections are encouraged. Shipping can be arranged as well.
