Vehicle Detail

The car.. before restoration was in great shape for her age! It was a southern car (No salt on the roads in the winter) and only had 38500 milers on her... Now a little over 39,600 miles ! And I am only the 3rd owner. The 1st being the Chevrolet dealers wife and the 2nd was the family I bought it from. I even have the original DEC page from the factory. It was tucked under one of the seats. As you know she's a 4 door hard top w/ 327 Motor, automatic, 12 bolt rear, AC. When I 1st bought her... I took the fender skirts off and put new tires and rims on her. I still have the fender skirts, and hub caps if you want that look. So this is what I have done to her so far: New front and rear shocks, rear coil springs, rear control arm bushings, front strut rod bushings, new trans filter/fluid, ALL NEW BELTS/HOSES, air filter, spark plugs, fuel filter, new radiator, new Cragar rims (15x7 in the front and 15x8 in the rear), as well as new BF Goodrich tires. Oh ya I even got the original AC to work... Blows at 55 degrees!! As for the restoration... As you can see from the photos it was extensive. It was not a frame off because she just didn't require that. All rust was taken care off both interior and exterior. Interior was removed. New seats were made to look just like the originals (black). New headliner and sail panels were put in as well as a new dash cover. They were all painted a tan color (SEM light buckskin) and new carpet was put in. It still has the original AM radio however it was converted to AM/FM with phone or Ipod hookup. The exterior was painted black and the chrome was polished. The only thing not original on the exterior is the antenna and the trim around the wheel wells. As for the motor. she was pulled apart and every thing repainted/polished then sealed. We put her back together and she started on the 1st try! (10/04/2014) I put new break light lenses in the rear as well as new chrome trim around break lights as well as new front parking light lenses. I think that's everything! We are willing to entertain all offers. As for shipping. THE CAR IS NOW LOCATED IN BLOOMINGTON IL (U.S.A.). So if your not local, shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer. We will work with what ever transport company you choose. More photos can be see at: http://myclassicgarage.com/marketplace/cars/all/Chevrolet-Impala-327/54656 Let me just say the reserve for this car is set for 10,000 less then what it cost to buy and restore this car! Good Luck.. and Happy bidding! The car also comes with all the original trim work and parts that we replaced. We even still have the original 8 track player and the fender skirts that cam with the car (painted black now as well)!
