1979 blue MGB roadster 4 speed transmission with 72k miles. Very reliable driver quality car and runs excellent. Body is in solid overall shape however rust has been repaired at some point, specifically the fender bottoms and dog legs. Floors are solid. One of the lower castle rails has a small hole- see picture. The undercarriage is in great shape and has all the factory undercoating. Under the hood is solid as it was also undercoated from new. Please keep in mid this is a 35 year old car with most of the original paint and has some dings. There are some small surface rust spots- see pictures. The trunk has dents and originally had luggage rack- the holes were welded at some point. The hood a little rust/rot under the lip- see picture. I have installed many high performance upgrades including: Special Tuning reinforced fiberglass air dam, new Lucas electronic fuel pump, Weber carb and Pierce manifold, headers, newer exhaust and hardware, Minilite wheels with newer tires, Moss front lowering performance springs and rear blocks, urethane front end bushings, Limited Edition leather steering wheel, Flamethrower ignition coil and Cobalt wires, and Pertronix distributor. The lower control arms were recently sandblasted and painted. The radiator was replaced recently and cooling fan upgraded to a high performance pancake fan. Newer rear axle rubber straps, front and rear brake hoses, brake rotors, and calipers. The radio is missing the faceplate but I will include another one (not installed). Car runs well with great oil pressure (50 psi at warm idle) and no overheating issues. Interior is mostly original with a small tear in the lower driver’s seat cushion- see picture and the passenger sun visor came loose. The top was replaced approximately 5 years ago but is not a high end top (fits tight). Fun car and drives great! I will not deliver the vehicle and buyer is responsible for making all pickup arrangements. I am located in southern NH, approximately 1 hr north of Boston.
