1987 Honda Big Red 250ES

Attention eBay shoppers!!!!!!!!If there is such a thing as a Holy Grail for three wheelers this is it! Up for sale is a 1987 Honda Big Red 250ES that is in new condition! It has 20.4 ORIGINAL MILES!!!!! This bike is a collector! It was owned by an older gentleman who drove it around his mowed yard on nice sunny days! He never ever took it in the dirt! I have owned it for the last eight years and it has been in my collection of three wheelers in a climate controlled showroom! I have the largest Big Red New Collection in the United States and it is painful letting one of my treasures go. But caring for and moving a large collection is very worrisome so I have decided to slowly sell off a few of my bikes to make my inventory more manageable! Mike Palmgren from Vintage Motor Sports (VMS), currently is storing some of this collection for me and this is where this jewel is currently located! To restore a bike like this to new NOS condition is around $20,000, I know because I have 3 of these bikes done for me by Mike. Anyone who knows Mike knows that he is IT in the three-wheeler world. Only he has 20 of his restorations in the Honda Museum of Japan! If he did cars Jay Leno would have one of his cars! Fortunately, he doesn't do cars because I would not be able to afford one! What makes this bike special is that it is in new unrestored condition! These bikes don't exist, period! I know because I have been collecting them for years! The only reason this bike exists is because a crazy collector like myself put it in a time capsule and now is offering it up for another like mined person to enjoy this piece of history! I repeat 20.4 ORIGINAL MILES!!!! Unless I sell another bike in a few years you will never find another BIG RED IN NEW CONDITION PERIOD!!!!!! Look at the tires! Original and new, you can still see the knobbies and the painted stripe in the rubber! Original plastic and decals! Tank is as it was when on showroom floor inside...new...no rust!
