I bought this truck last Friday. I own a tree service in the greater Harrisburg area and have 9 trucks in our fleet. I have a background of trucks from my family. My father has been a diesel mechanic his whole life, his father was a mechanic and a maintenance director both for New Penn motor express....at one time the most profitable LTL carrier in the northeast. Growing up fixing my cars and learning from them ive learned a lot about trucks and how to care for them. I love trucks and equipment but never wanted to be a mechanic. I'm fortunate in that with my company if have all kinds of diesel equipment and have 2 great part time mechanics. I bought this truck and others as part of a larger package of trucks so I can sell some and keep others for our use. the truck came from a local company Stroehmann bakeries that was bought out by Bimbo bakeries. I think these Japanese cabovers are so superior to an 3500 4500 or any ford 350 450 or 550..why? These trucks are small "Trucks" not oversized pick ups. they are built much higher quality and built to last and be rebuilt. anything on these trucks can be fixed, you can order parts off the internet 24 hours a day direct from dealers and have them at your door in a couple days. over 300 dealer nation wide. If you are buying one of these for the first time do some research ask some people that have them they are great trucks. I have had 4 Ud/Nissan's a Mitsubishi fuso fg 4x4 and multiple Isuzu's currently 3 in fleet. you can argue about which one is the best cab over but Isuzu has the best cost of ownership and parts available new and used. anyway...about this truck you are bidding on it has worked great is a clean one owner with all matching firestone transforce tires, all wheels in fleet of company had been being blasted and powder coated...they are all balanced as well. Looks like complete ac condenser unit with fan was recently replaced. I'll being changing oil in it this week for you so you'll be ready to go...sticker said was good for another 2000 miles but I didn't see date it was changed. these trucks were used as recently as 9-21-14 the ac works great shifts good and no smoke on start up. this truck will make someone a great work truck. it has 190 hp and plenty of torque to haul the loads. I've made several of these into dump trucks and will pull a skid loader great.
