Vehicle Detail
I had every intention to restomod this car. When I got the car it hadn't run in over 5 years. It was setting in a garage. I oiled down the cylinders, changed the points, condensor, plugs, battery, master cylinder, and removed the old gas. The car starts right up and can be driven around. If the car had a current inspection and the brakes were checked I bet it would drive anywhere. The previous owner told me she had the engine rebuilt about a year before she stopped driving it and thinks she only put a few hundred miles on the rebuilt original engine but I'm going to be safe and say less than 1000 miles. The car is pretty solid for a '67. It has very little body rot other than a few small ares at the bottom of the quarters and fender. The trunk floor will need to be replaced and the trunk lid frame is gone at the lower edge, If you can find a donor lid you could probably weld the lower section in or reskin the original lid to the replacement trunk frame. Quarter windows both need new rollers. The frame is very solid and the floors are solid too but do have a few smaller areas that will need to be patched but don't need to be replaced. To buy all the replacement patches would cost less than $800, and that is using the better American panels! The convertible top will need to be replaced but it looks like the motor and cylinders have been replaced so the convertible goes up and down perfectly.I took pictures of everything I could but if you need something not shown just ask. This is just a good little car that was well cared for over its life. I'm listing this as a 7 day auction so anyone interested will have enough time to look at the car in person. If you have any questions please ask before the last 24 hours of the auction so I have time to answer. This car is also listed locally so the auction can end at any time if a solid offer is made. Please don't ask for the reserve. I won't answer that question if asked. Thanks and bid to win! On Aug-31-14 at 14:36:44 PDT, seller added the following information: Car is sold as and where it is. There are no warranties expressed or implied. Make sure you ask all questions or see the car in person if possible. Do not assume anything if you have not been given a definite answer. Shipping costs and arranging for shipping are the sole responsibility of the winning bidder. Car must be paid in full, in cash, within three (3) days of the auction ending. Car must be removed from property no more than seven (7) days from the auction ending. On Oct-19-14 at 19:17:25 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention the radio is missing from the car. The dash has not been cut up so a replacement radio will fit in the original spot. In the pictures I included both lower quarters and lower fender to try to show the small amount of rust but it doesn't show up well in the pictures. It is not rusted through, just raised bumps in the area.On Oct-23-14 at 14:30:27 PDT, seller added the following information: Someone asked about the wheels on the car. They are 15" Buick rims.
