Vehicle Detail
Ok- where do you start on a Jeep like this? If a picture is worth a thousand words then I can make this short- because this Jeep is HOT HOT HOT and the pictures clearly show that. I drive a lot of cars and this Jeep gets more look than cars that I have that are 5 times this value! Lets start with extra's that don't come with really any other Jeep: The wheels are all black and contain massive 305/70/R18 tires...all nearly new tread. The Thule rack makes this Jeep stand out. There is a full spare wheel and tire on the back, complete with two spare gas tanks for those that want to never run out. There is a CB antennae and hookup for that inside (but not CB), there is a plow controller and electrical control at the front and rear, the Jeep is setup with "lockers" which are controlled by three buttons on the center console. If you know what these lockers are- you are an enthusiast. If you don't what they basically do is allow you to get unstuck where most Jeeps would- it keeps power going to both sides of the vehicle if one wheel begins to spin. In short this is even better than 4 wheel drive for tough conditions. There are small "jeep" accessories throughout including rubber floor mats, a padded arm rest in the center between driver and passenger, custom Misch armrests on each door, there is a holder for belongings above the dash, lights adorning the entire Jeep- under it, on top of it, all over. These lights are controlled by a set of switches on the dash. I also have a canopy that bolts on the rack that pulls out and creates a tailgate covered area. The Jeep is lifted...? inches not sure. The rest of the nice things are Jeep things- Navigation, stereo, Satellite radio, and the rest of the items listed such as AC, cruise control, bluetooth, etc. The Jeep only had one owner before me, and I have only owned a couple months. I bought this as a surprise for my son thinking he would love it, and turns out he is totally into his VW GLI and doesn't want to switch. I guess it turns out it is the Jeep I always wanted and not the thing he wanted to upgrade to. Frustrating but oh well. It has a fresh PA state inspection- so you know brakes, and emissions and everything needed for inspection is good. I also changed the oil and its ready to go. There are a couple warning lights on- anti-roll and anti-slip and they are on because of the larger wheels and tires (as I am told by my mechanic). Once you jack it up and put bigger wheels and tires on it the computer interprets that and puts those lights on. Lets see what else can I tell you about this Jeep. The top of this jeep has a easy to remove "sunroof"- the panels above the driver and passenger can un-clip and come off OR you can just remove the entire roof by taking screws off from around the cap. The lights on this jeep are EVERYWHERE literally. There are lights that you can turn on or off under it, under the front wheels, there are reverse lights you can turn on to light up behind it, there is a set of lights somewhere else under it- one of the two lights needs repair or just don't bother, and as you can see in one of the pictures there are lights all around the front. What does it need? There are a couple of scratches/small dents (shown)- the major one is show in a pic off of the passenger door. This doesn't change the cool look of the jeep and is pretty minor in comparison to the condition and upgrades it has. There is a small scratch 1 inch long below the cap on the opposite side (shown). There are a few other scratches around the car here and there- that might come out with compound- I didn't even try as it looks so good as is. There are small paint chips on the fenders on both sides of the rear (shown)...again nothing huge just making sure that bidders get the complete deal and won't have the idea this is showroom vehicle. I would be more than happy to show anyone this car if they want to see it and drive it before the auction ends (Bryn Athyn PA is just a mile or two outside of Northeast Philly suburbs). Please email me and we can arrange for you to come and see it. The Jeep is amazing, it makes other Jeeps look ordinary, plain and boring. If I could keep this I would but just too many cars to have another exception.
