The Maserati GranSport is the same car as the Gran Turismo Sport, they changed the name a few years back. It is the Higher-end, Very rare, Performance version of the Maserati Gran Turismo which comes with more horsepower, lower angled sideboards, nicer front & back-end body, performance suspension, internal carbon fiber trim, and fully loaded internal features. The lower-end, normal Gran Turismo that you see on the streets is actually a different car, previously known as the Cambiocorsa. The GranSport, like the Gran Turismo Sport model, was made in very limited numbers and, is a lot more expensive than the normal Gran Turismo. As such, you can see that this car looks Very Different from anything you see driving around on the street. This car is a RARE Beauty. A bit about me and the car, I'm a former Dot-com CEO who has lived in the Hollywood Hills for years. I bought this car when I sold my company to Amazon.com years ago. I had unlimited funds when I bought this so, if you can imagine, I basically customized this car, putting every dollar I could into it to make it exactly what a man would want in a luxury sports car. I wanted the most powerful, fastest, and hottest-looking luxury sports car I could buy that would still allow me to be respected within the business community. To buy this car new today would cost nearly $180,000. The car has been babied since it was bought,kept garaged and in perfect condition, every service was done on time, no accidents, and it was always hand-washed and waxed and leather was treated. I've actually been traveling and living overseas the past 2 years so believe it or not this car has just been sitting my garage! Overall, this car TURNS HEADS both visually and audibly as it is unique and powerful. Definitely not cheap but the exhaust sounds and feels POWERFUL, far better than most new Ferraris and Lamborghinis and still classy, NOT loud and obnoxious, and the 4-shiny round tips add modernity and class to the powerful sound. To give you some idea how perfect the design is, we installed 4 different systems and tried out 6 muffler tip styles until we perfected this system. You could drive 10 Maserati Gran Turismo Sport models and you won’t find one that accelerates as quickly and as smoothly as this one I promise you. The performance system sounds amazing both outside and inside, while you're driving. The nature of the Gransport design is not easy to perfect soundwise but they were able to design a system where the dual JL Audio subwoofers blast underneath the gas tank and into the back seat with an amazing amount of power powered by 2 huge JL Audio amps which are sunk into a false, hidden recessed area. It's the sharpest sound system you'll probably ever hear in your life and, visually, looks 100% factory as if nothing has been altered in the car. The interface is a sliding/hidden Kenwood touchscreen with XM, Navigation, Ipod/MP3 hookup, CD player and everything you would find on a brand New 2014 Maserati Gran Turismo. A Salvaged title means that the car was declared a financial loss by the insurance company usually when there is a large payout due to an accident. However, to clarify, this car has NEVER been in an accident. Last year the insurance paid for and installed a Brand New Factory Maserati Engine after a rock bounced up and put a tiny crack in the bottom of the old engine block. Since the payout was nearly $20,000, the insurance company was required, by law, to file for the Title to be switched from Clear to Salvaged. FYI-The New Factory Maserati engine has less than 5000 miles on it. I replaced the Clutch and Starter and almost all of the Oil Gaskets at the same time to be 100% comprehensive. It is viewable in the pictures. I don’t recommend fixing this b/c you can’t see it from the outside and you’ll be sitting on top of this part of the seat when you’re driving. This is the only big cosmetic issue. Everything else below is minor or barely noticeable. -The rims are in excellent condition but do have some scuffs/scratches from occasionally hitting curbs and potholes. I had the rims reframed/rechromed about a year ago, so the luster/shine is great. -There is a small 1-inch long blue plastic piece missing from the front bumper. It’s hardly noticeable, I think it's about $30 if you want to replace it. -On the bottom of the back bumper there is some blue paint scratched off from backing out of my driveway. It’s not viewable if you’re standing up so, again, probably not worth doing anything about. There are also some scratches on the right rear of the bumper. These are both visible in the picture if you want to verify.-The driver's side seat adjustment knob fell off and the seat motor is a little spotty. It's never been an issue for me though. -There is a USC university emblem on the trunk. All the Gaskets, Seals, Clutch and Starter are new. Everything was replaced less than 5000 miles ago. Hence you shouldn’t need to do any major maintenance for years to come. Basically you can think of this car’s engine compartment as that of a new car with less than 5000 miles on it. There are no oil leaks, nothing. Also, a tune-up was done recently and all 4 tires have been replaced in the past year or so. Lastly, I just had the car professionally detailed ($170) so it might actually look better than the pictures when you get it. To give you an idea of price/value, the Blue Book for this model with its features and mileage, panoramic roof, etc is $32,500, Then there are approximately $25,000 in additions/modifications like the Stereo System, Rims, Tires, Exhaust, etc. If you're having trouble ascertaining the value of a rare model Maserati with both factory and aftermarket customizations, I'll tell you, I took the car to 2 specialty dealers in L.A. that sell specialty high-end cars like Ferraris, and McLarens to athletes, ceo's and the hollywood crowd, and they offered to consign the car and price it at $34,500 and $38,000 respectively before taking their commission. also, questions about shipping, Yes, I can ship Nationwide or even Internationally. If you want to pay via Wire Transfer or Cashier's Check I can even handle the shipping for you.I know a great and affordable shipper who charges about 10% less than most. I shipped my other car with him to Miami last year and it showed up 5 days later . He had put a car cover on it and drove it over himself on his 1-car flatbed truck. I think it's about $1200 from L.A. to the East coast or $600 to Washington or Texas, I think Arizona and Nevada are $500.
