This legendary 1998 Volvo V70 wagon is up for sale. There is a handful of these wagons floating around in the market but let me take a moment and point out why this Volvo is unique and worth taking the time to check out.First of all this Volvo has a white exterior and a black interior,and as you may know white is an in demand color right now, but don’t worry we aren’t going to charge you extra for it ;). This is a rare color combo for a 1998 Volvo as Volvo buyers are bit more conservative. The front and rear bumpers do have some blemishes but the car is 16 years old, and these can be repaired for less $500 and if the buyer would like we can take care of these items for them for around $500. The only other major flaw is that the leather on the driver side door card needs to be replaces as the leather/vinyl is detaching from the door card at the door handle. The car does come with two sets of wheels 17 inch Pegasus R Wheels with summer tires and also steel wheels for the winter. Everything in the car works as it should with no electrical gremlins as some Volvos can have. The body of the car isn’t perfect but it is 16 years old and it has never been in any accidents so all the panels are original. The best part of this Volvo V70 “Berzerker Edition,” outside of it being a Swedish Tank, is the mechanical engineering. This particular wagon boasts the venerable Volvo straight 5 non turbo motor. This motor is known for going well over 300,000 miles on just regular oil changes, even a million miles isn't impossible with this drive-train. This motor might be as reliable as the B230 4 Cyclinder it replaced, which has gone down in history as being an indestructible motor for Volvo. For additional peace of mind this wagon is Volvo mechanic and enthusiast owned. What that means for you is the water pump, timing belt and tie-rods were all replaced at 100,000 miles. Which means you will probably only need to change the oil and breaks for the foreseeable future of this magnificent wagon.We are a Volvo family and have owned many and the only reasons we are selling this Volvo wagon is that we have invited a new Volvo wagon to our family and the driveway cannot take anymore Volvos parked in it ;).
