Vehicle Detail

1971 Ford Torino 2 door fastback 250ci 6cyl C4 ALL ORIGINAL except paint & mags! ...93K original miles! NEW carb FRESH tune up Original steel wheels included! Nice driver quality car--shows less than average wear, small dings and dents, paint faded/discolored, dashboard cracked. Driven regularly --thumbs up and smiles everywhere. The car is worth much more than the asking price, no doubt. Having regrets already. PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION.. THE GOOD-AWESOME cruiser, very solid carInterior is incredible for it's ageBrand NEW good quality tiresBrand NEW Carter carb installed (bought from Summit Racing for $250. just weeks ago)Super fresh tune up including cap, plugs, plug wires, rotor, distributor cap, points, condenserAM radio still works great!Bumpers are niceBench seat interior is original and is pretty nice for a 43 year old classicRecently drove it on a 1000 mile round trip!! Has good torque/ power with the original straight 6 250!Does not smoke or burn oilEasy driving with a C4 automatic on the columnGreat power steering, standard brakesGets good gas mileage for a classic! You can take out on cruise night classic that gets heads to snappin' around to see it!Great styling that could be converted into a V8 street monster quite easily Factory carpet delete (Ford rubber mat style carpet - could be bad or good depending on how you look at it) The BADNot really a show car, but a good "20 footer" for sure. There are dents that have not been properly attended to (biggest on shown in picture on the passenger side rear quarter.Dash pad cracked Amateur re-paint that left dents remaining, is fading and dullSuspension could use fresh bushings (typical intermediate/ full sized Ford squeaky front bushings)Drivers' side shoulder belt does not lock in properly, lap belt works fine.Seat upholstery not perfect (but I believe easily made to be close to perfect as it is pretty nice) Some F-O-R-D lettering missing, some misappliedSome chrome trim fading and pittingTiny bit of bubbling in rear quarter (see pics - hard to photograph, very small amount)Noticed recently that the original style muffler has a hole in it. NOTE: This car is for sale locally and has the possibility of being sold before close of listing- if this listing is still up, the car is still available. ALL LOW-BALL offers will be automatically rejected. THERE WILL BE NO GAMES, WIGGLING OUT OF SALE, OR CRITIQUING THE CAR ONCE YOU SHOW TO PICK IT UP!
