Up for auction is our 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Edition with a 4.0 Straight 6 Cylinder Engine We have had this wonderful Jeep for 6 years. We got it from a family friend. It has been a great vehicle for us. It is very dependable and starts right up every time. We are selling this SUV only because our family is growing and we needed to get another vehicle that is larger (the Commander in the background). This Jeep has always been serviced at the Jeep dealer, or our family mechanic, or Just Brakes. It has no issues and no check engine codes. We just took it in to the dealer for a checkup prior to placing it on eBay. They told us that it needed brakes soon (in 10k miles) so we purchased 4 brand new sets of Callahan rotors/pads and had Just Brakes install them on to the Jeep less than 2 weeks ago! We have also our family mechanic give it a full tune-up with distributor cap, plugs, and new spark plug wires. We also replaced a couple of sensors. It's running great! The transmission shifts perfectly, the brakes are super strong, the suspension rides quietly over bumps, the exhaust is quiet. There are no warning lights on the dash, the interior is in good shape. There are no bad smells or signs of any human/pets use. The wheels are in great shape. No leaks, ice cold air, heat works, after market stereo system. Headliner was professionally replaced by a headliner installer less than 7 months ago. Look at the photos and you'll see even the tires are in great shape: Goodyear tires were purchased a couple of months ago. Oil changes are performed religiously every 3k miles at the dealer. We have documentation for everything. We can provide all of it upon request. The straight 6 is one of the most dependable engines ever made. All the power windows work great. If you want a dependable truck that is going to last you then you've found it. This truck is not a new one and as you can see the paint is not perfect, but there is not one speck rust on the body. This was always a southern truck. It is 16 years old but you would never tell that driving it. There are some imperfections such as in the paint, and the driver's side door panel (photographed). But this is all just normal wear and tear.
