NO RESERVE! DESCRIPTION & HISTORY You are bidding on an absolutely gorgeous, carefully restored and maintained 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang 260 convertible, a winner of multiple first place trophies in the Mustang category at car shows. This car was recently won by our consignor in Security National Bank of Nebraska's 50 Year Anniversary "I Get Around Giveaway" in which the bank celebrated 50 years of service by raffling this beautiful vintage car from the year the bank opened. The bank purchased the car from a car collector farmer from Iowa who had restored it and maintained it since the late 1990's. The car won 1st place in at least two car show competitions (see photos of included trophies below). You will be hard-pressed to set your eyes on a sweeter 1964 1/2 convertible Mustang, of that we can be sure! Our consignor was simply a bank customer who put her name in a raffle box while depositing a check and was lucky enough to be chosen out of thousands to win this car at a big event in Omaha last month. She has always wanted to go on a grand tour and she'll be taking a much-needed vacation with the proceeds from selling the Mustang here on eBay. Check out the YouTube video below of Security National Bank's commercial advertising the giveaway and featuring this car with better photography than we are capable of. Our consignor has titled the car but not driven it except to put into storage awaiting auction. It has only been driven a handful of miles since being fully-serviced by the bank in advance of the giveaway so it has a clean bill of health and is ready to go! Included with the car is everything pictured, the trophies, the micro-fiber dusters, the full case of lead-substitute additive for gas, the protective car cover, the many collector's Mustang manuals and books, and a folder with all the paperwork showing the history of the work done to this beauty over the years (we only photographed a few important receipts from the folder). CONDITION Before the big giveaway, the bank had the Mustang fully inspected and repaired ball joints and newly replaced all four tires, wipers, and battery, as well as giving it a full oil change and lube and classic alignment. You can see close-up photos of the receipts for this most recent work below, as well as photos of some past receipts over the decades showing work done during two previous owner's restoration and maintenance of the car. Clearly, no expense has been spared in keeping this vintage car looking amazing and running like a top! From my research into these documents, it appears the original engine has been rebuilt (disassembled, cleaned, sanded and repainted) twice, once in 1976 and once in 2003. It also had an AC and Heater retrofit installation. Meticulous care and expense has been taken to restore and maintain the car in all aspects, as seen in the photos. We have perhaps taken too many photos but we wanted bidders to have an experience as close to inspecting the car in person as possible. Please allow time for all the photos to load as there are a lot of them! Also, see videos below of car starting right up, the easy lowering of the top, as well as a video of us driving the car back into the garage where it will remain until you come pick it up after winning the auction. We are starting the bidding low with no reserve! We are not car experts but we will refer to the service receipts as best as we can to answer any questions you might have before bidding. If you want to see the car in person during the auction, please write to make an appointment with us as early in the auction as possible. The car is located in Omaha, Nebraska. We don't end auctions early so if interested, please bid. Good luck! The Video below is Security National Bank's commercial advertising the giveaway, featuring the actual car you are bidding on: Here is a video of the car starting right up, and the easy lowering of the top: Here is a video of us driving the car back into the garage where it is being stored: TRANSPORTATION: Transporting the vehicle is the buyer's responsibility. The vehicle is in Omaha, Nebraska. There are plenty of businesses to choose from to transport the vehicle for you if you aren't going to pick it up in person. PLEASE Don't ask if we will end the auction early and sell this vehicle to you right now. We don't end auctions early and we do not add "buy it now" prices. PAYMENT: On this item we will only accept payment via certified check. Full payment must be received within 7 days of the end of auction. If you are not going to pay and pick up in person, we will mail a signed vehicle purchase contract to you after the auction. You sign and return with payment and we will mail (or release) the signed title to you. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED: The winning bidder is welcome to inspect the vehicle, or arrange an inspection (at the winning bidder's expense), prior to finalizing the transaction. If anything whatsoever is not satisfactory, the winning bidder will not be obligated to complete the transaction.
