Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Up For Sale is a 1931 Nash 660. This car is in amazing, original, untouched condition with the exception of an amateur paint job and seat re upholstry. It has 69,xxx miles and has been garaged for the last 40 years. The under-carriage and body is solid with literally no rust. It has its original wood-spoke wheels and all original components. The interior dash lights and the side headlamps work. All the glass is in excellent condition. The Single Six (Six-Sixty) was only manufactured for the model year 1931. It has a single plate dry clutch with a 3 speed transmission floor shift, rear wheel drive and mechanical brakes on all four wheels. This is a four door sedan. As you can see from the pictures the top on this car is in immaculate condition. The interior is in great shape with what appears to be original mohair door panels, seat covering and head liner. The engine runs and the car drives but needs fine-tuning and a carburetor re-build/and or adjustment. The car has a new exhaust and muffler system. Items known to need replacement or repair: Tires Headlights need to be wired and is missing the lens retaining rings Front torsion Bar needs repair Water pump shaft packing needs to be replaced (leaks water) Fly wheel has approximately 4 worn stops and should be repaired/replaced as the starter does not always engage This is a fantastic candidate for a complete restoration or a daily driver with little work.See the car running at http://youtu.be/LRxowcffHO8 The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. No warranty is expressed or implied in the sale of this 1931 Nash 660.
