Up for auction is my 1994 Dodge Ram 2500 Standard Cab RWD Pickup Truck with an 8' bed and the highly desirable 5.9L Cummins Turbo Diesel 12 Valve engine with the P7100 injection pump. It has a clear title in my name. I purchased this as a project truck a few years ago with around 220,000 miles on it. Not too long before selling the truck, the previous owner had the transmission rebuilt with a Billet torque converter and a stage 1 shift kit. This stiffens up the shifts and causes it to shift at slightly higher engine speeds than stock from 1st to 2nd and from 2nd to 3rd for better towing acceleration. He also put on new tires - Hankook Dynapro ATM LT245/75R15 (around $150 each). He also installed a 4" straight exhaust from the turbo on back. The truck is loud, but not obnoxious. Shortly after doing all this, the injection pump took a dump - This is very common on these trucks with over 200K miles. Anyway, he decided to buy a newer Dodge 4 door pickup diesel truck. Oh, and he also installed an after market stereo with subwoofer which sits on the floor between the driver and passenger as seen in the pictures. The CD player does not work. It sounds pretty good, but is not one of those thumper systems. After buying the truck, I installed a new Industrial Injection brand P7100 injection pump. These are high quality pumps and cost $1225 new. I also had new high quality cab corners and rockers welded in as there was considerable rust in those areas (also very common). There was a section of the bed that was rusted, so I welded in a nicer one. All the welding is professional grade. The truck shows an accident on the vehicle report which I was told was hitting a deer. Other than the bumper being dented up, there was no damage that I could find. I did replace the bumper with a nicer looking one with fog lamps. The switch for these is on top of the sub woofer box. I used an empty fuse slot which turns off with the ignition, so they can not be left on accidentally. It needed some other things like new valve cover gaskets and the main fuel line was damp, so I replaced those things too along with a new fuel filter. The differential fluid looked old, so that is also new. The transmission fluid still looks new due to the recent rebuild. The dash is NOT cracked. It is in very good mechanical condition and drives very well. The truck does not smoke at all, even under heavy acceleration. I did not turn up the fuel plate, which gives more power but also causes smoke. There are no warning lights on once the start up test times out. The tires look almost new. There are no fluid leaks. The A/C, heat, and cruise control work as they should. There is a block heater. I have been driving the truck since spring, but need to reduce my fleet now. The bad - The paint is peeling and there are some surface rust spots which should be cleaned up before re-painting the truck - the head liner is stained and pulling away from the roof in spots - the bottom of the doors are rusted and need metal work or replacement - the drivers seat has a very small rip on the side edge.
