1956 GMC Long bed pickup This 1956 GMC long bed pickup with big back window and custom cab trim was originally a rust free New Mexico truck that was completely redone by the previous owner in the mid 90's. The truck has a clean 1976 Nova front clip that was professionally installed making the truck drive like a car. It is also equipped with a freshly rebuilt 400 small block engine that was mated up with a rebuilt 350 automatic transmission, disc brakes, power steering and tilt wheel. This truck was driven about 10,000 miles before being stored in the previous owners shop for 10 years. Since my acquisition of the truck the following upgrades have been made: New heavy duty radiatorNew carburetor New ball joints, control arm bushings and heavy duty sway barNew Cooker white wall radial tiresAll new custom interior Everything works as it should including all gauges, speedometer and wipers. The glass is all in excellent condition. The truck was built to drive and shows minor dings, minor scratches and some fading from the sun. The finish will buff to a high gloss shine, but I really prefer some patina. This truck is a blast to drive and runs very strong!
