Up for auction is a 53 Chevy truck with a S 10 sub frame and rebuilt 305 SBC engine and turbo 350 transmission. This truck was built to drive and enjoy and use everyday. The truck runs and drives very nice, and is very easy to drive. The truck has power brakes. The front are disc brakes the back are drum brakes. The original emergency brake pedal and release handle that came with the truck were used for the E brake setup. The truck was first painted with epoxy primer then painted with Firethorn Red Pearl metallic flake. the running boards and bumpers are painted in Black Pearl metallic flake. The paint is not perfect , but is very nice. We tried to keep the truck looking as original as possible on the outside and inside. All the sheet metal has been repaired and steel patch panels used where repairs were required ( cab corners, fenders, etc.) very little filler was used. All new mounting hardware were used nuts bolts etc,.. The cab floor and bottom side were coated with P.O.R 15 rust preventive and top coated with black paint. There is all new glass and rubber seals installed including the hood to cowl seal and cowl vent seal. Also a new head liner and door panels installed. All the emblems are new as are the stainless outside mirrors and inside and outside handles. The truck has 8 position power leather seats and there is a console in between the seats with pull out cup holders. The truck also has a tilt steering and a new Grant steering wheel. We installed new carpet and used aluminum trim to edge the carpet with. There are new sun visors and rear view mirror installed. As you can see in the pictures the truck has the original heater (we don't need the heater here in bama so it isn't hooked up). The windshield wipers were converted to 12 volt and work great. All the blinkers headlights high and low beam and park lights work.The horn also works. The 305 engine has been rebuilt and has a mild street cam with a 4 barrel carburator. a new H.E.I. distributor was installed so the truck has electronic ignition. Also has a new alternator, starter, hoses, and sending units. The transmission is a turbo 350 automatic with floor shifter. The dual exhaust system is new with turbo mufflers that give the truck a nice low rumble. The radiator is also a new 3 row aluminum with a 16" electric fan mounted to it. The truck also has a brand new 21 circuit wiring harness installed. There is a option to install electric door locks and windows. These extra wires were not cut from the fuse box but are rolled up and tucked away for future use. The headlights, parking lights, are new , the tail lights and brackets are stainless and new also. We also installed new stainless bed chains.The wood in the bed are all oak except the center board it is pine. The center pine board is actually one of the original bed slats that we saved and refinished and put back in the bed. The gas tank was mounted under the bed and is a new 16 gallon tank. There are new fuel lines and a new fuel pump that is mounted on the right side near the tank for easy access. SEE THE VIDEO BELOW OF THE TRUCK UP FOR SALE All REASONABLE offers will be considered. And has been restored to last another 60 years Alabama does not issue a title for vehicles that are older then 1976 only a bill of sale to register. I will give the buyer a notorized affidavit from the State Of Alabama stating that Alabama does not required a title for vehicles older then 1976 and a notorized bill of sale and a signed tag reciept. I have sold trucks to people in England, France, Florida, Virginia. California and none have had any problems registering a vehicle in thier state or country. PAYMENT, a non refundable deposit of $500.00 is required within 24 hours after auction closes. And full payment within 7 days of auction close. And the truck is being sold as is with no warranties implied by the seller or anyone else. SHIPPING, it is the buyers responsibility to have the truck shipped or picked up.
