An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a beautiful 1990 Ford Thunderbird SC with the very desirable and rare 5 speed manual transmission. If you're reading this description, chances are you already know the difference between a Thunderbird SC and a Thunderbird LX...so I won't bore you with details. I would rate the exterior of this Thunderbird SC to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a gorgeous coupe. It is finished in dark blue and shows very well. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few minor imperfections in the finish. Overall, the dark blue finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. This was obviously someones baby...the detailed custom pin striping gives a great look but isn't "too much". The body lines are straight and true. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The original alloy wheels look fantastic and are wrapped in a proper matching set of Michelins with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out how exceptionally clean this Thunderbird Super Coupe is. I would also rate the interior of this Thunderbird to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you open the drivers door, you are greeted by a very well cared for interior. Pride in ownership shows throughout this coupe. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The deeply bolstered sport seats are in nearly perfect condition and are amazing to sit in. The passenger window will need a new regulator...and the sunroof tilts but does not slide. All the other power features work properly, including the power antenna. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The heater works well and keeps the interior warm. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The stereo is original and has the rare factory CD player. I cannot get the stereo to power on. I haven't looked into it. The trunk is spacious and clean. The automatic seatbelts work properly, too. If you've been looking for a clean stick shift Super Coupe, this one deserves your serious consideration. Mechanically, this Thunderbird SC appears to be in good running and driving condition. The supercharged 3.8L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. I believe the valve covers leaks a little, which is common. I didn't see the leak, but there is the occasional smell of a little oil seeping from the valve cover gasket onto the manifold after it sits a while. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure. She runs perfectly smooth and feels strong. The supercharger boosts instantly when you toe into the throttle. The engine makes great power and is very responsive. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. This Thunderbird corners very well and feels much smaller and lighter than it actually is. The steering and brakes feel good, too. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. This is a perfect cruiser/touring car. It is easy to drive in any situation. She is just as happy to carve out corners as she is to cruise down the highway...with plenty of power available when you want it. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Thunderbird SC is. I haven't had one this nice in over a year. She has a current PA safety and emissions inspection and was previously registered as a Classic Car in PA. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a beautiful 1990 Ford Thunderbird SC with the very desirable and rare 5 speed manual transmission. If you're reading this description, chances are you already know the difference between a Thunderbird SC and a Thunderbird LX...so I won't bore you with details. I would rate the exterior of this Thunderbird SC to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a gorgeous coupe. It is finished in dark blue and shows very well. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few minor imperfections in the finish. Overall, the dark blue finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. This was obviously someones baby...the detailed custom pin striping gives a great look but isn't "too much". The body lines are straight and true. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The original alloy wheels look fantastic and are wrapped in a proper matching set of Michelins with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out how exceptionally clean this Thunderbird Super Coupe is.
I would also rate the interior of this Thunderbird to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you open the drivers door, you are greeted by a very well cared for interior. Pride in ownership shows throughout this coupe. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The deeply bolstered sport seats are in nearly perfect condition and are amazing to sit in. The passenger window will need a new regulator...and the sunroof tilts but does not slide. All the other power features work properly, including the power antenna. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The heater works well and keeps the interior warm. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The stereo is original and has the rare factory CD player. I cannot get the stereo to power on. I haven't looked into it. The trunk is spacious and clean. The automatic seatbelts work properly, too. If you've been looking for a clean stick shift Super Coupe, this one deserves your serious consideration.
Mechanically, this Thunderbird SC appears to be in good running and driving condition. The supercharged 3.8L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. I believe the valve covers leaks a little, which is common. I didn't see the leak, but there is the occasional smell of a little oil seeping from the valve cover gasket onto the manifold after it sits a while. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure. She runs perfectly smooth and feels strong. The supercharger boosts instantly when you toe into the throttle. The engine makes great power and is very responsive. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. This Thunderbird corners very well and feels much smaller and lighter than it actually is. The steering and brakes feel good, too. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. This is a perfect cruiser/touring car. It is easy to drive in any situation. She is just as happy to carve out corners as she is to cruise down the highway...with plenty of power available when you want it. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Thunderbird SC is. I haven't had one this nice in over a year. She has a current PA safety and emissions inspection and was previously registered as a Classic Car in PA. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.
