Zundapp K800~ 1938/1939 Civilian Motorcycle ~Your Chance to Own a WWII Era Zundapp Motorcycle!!! Zundapp was a large scale motorcycle manufacturer in Nuremberg Germany between 1917 and 1984. Production of the K-series began in 1933 and had engine sizes from 200cc all the way up to 800cc. The "K" refers to the type of drivetrain that these models used, Kardanantrieb, meaning enclosed driveshaft with 2 universal joints.This bike was purchased from a museum in Nuremberg Germany approximately 24 years ago (1990), and brought to the USA. Since then, the owner has kept the bike in a private collection of German artifacts. Please note this motorcycle was purchased with a mismatched frame/motor, see below, from the above mentioned museum. In Full Disclosure: Frame: year 1939, K500 Motor: year 1938, K800 Frame VIN #: 183900 Motor/Transmission VIN #: 196765We believe a complete & correct K800 would bring approximately $35-40K. Due to the discrepancy between the motor & frame VIN on our bike, we have set the reserve price well below the $35-40K figure, and do believe our reserve price is set accurately. Unsure of actual kilometers, but the mileage on odometer reads 11154 km. This bike does not have a 'Title' and will be sold with a Bill of Sale only; 'Rebuilt, Rebuildable & Reconstructed' was selected for vehicle title when listing for this reason.
