1986 GMC High Sierra 2WD half-ton pickup. 68144 miles. Nice looking truck that I have had for 4 and a half years and have driven barely over 1000 miles in that time. That is the reason I am selling the truck. The truck has many new parts including new starter, brakes lines, brake pads and shoes, caliper, choke coil kit, replaced both front inner fenders, door moldings, wheel moldings, window louvers, windshield and headlights. My intentions were to fully restore this because of it's low miles and solid body. The truck has been well kept but I never really got to the restoration point. As you can see it is a solid truck with very little rust. I've included pictures of the rust blemishes. If you're a serious looker and would like other pictures just let me know. When new the truck apparently had a sealant applied to all the joints which is what the white marks are that you might notice. The vehicle was rustproofed when new and I'm assuming the white sealant was a part of that rustproofing because there's no rust in these areas. Unlike other GMC and Chevy pickups from this era the cab corners on this truck are rust free and solid. Interior is black perforated vinyl that shows no rips or tears in the upholstery. Yes, the dash pad is cracked as I believe it's the original on the truck. The other things I have not corrected are the speedometer and the fuel gauge. Speedo shows about 5 MPH fast at 55, the fuel gauge doesn't read the amount correctly. I think these are the only issues with the truck. I don't drive it much so it's difficult to say for sure. I'll be sure to update the listing if I think of anything else. Absolutely no big issues at all. Great transmission. Great motor. Good Michelin tires with spare. The interior is black - the bright sunshine made the pictures look gray.
