Vehicle Detail

For sale is my blue 1962 Plymouth Fury 2 dr hdtp with two-toned gray vinyl interior. Rebuilt 1967 Mopar 440 ci engine with 915 closed chamber heads, Mopar purple shaft cam and lifters, Edelbrock aluminum intake with Edelbrock 750 carb, forged steel crank, ProComp electronic ignithion, double roller timing chain 1969 Roadrunner high-rise exhaust manifolds and many other goodies. Rebuilt 727 Torqueflite pushbutton transmission with 2500 rpm stall converter and slip joint universal tied to a new driveshaft. !969 Roadrunner 3.23 rearend. 11.75" front disc brakes from a 1977 Cordoba. Ball joints, bushings and tie-rod ens have been replaced. Aluminum radiator and much more. Minor rust in the body was repaired a fe years ago inclding rust-free cowl welded in, rust-free CA trunklid installed along with floor pans. Some paint bubbling is starting to show up in driver's side roccker panel recently. Trunk is solid. Car was painted by MAACO a few years ago and looks decent but is not show quality. All chrome and stainless are on the car but some need rechroming including the bumpers. When it rains, there is a water leak that drips down on the driver's side floor. I have owned the car for 15 years and it has been kept inside most of that time. Car is licensed, inspected and insured with a clean Virginia title. Very good driver quaity and for Saturday night cruise-ins and car club get-togethers. Needs some finishing and tweaking to be top of class but gets plenty of head-turning when on the road. My age, grandkids and other toys do not alow me the time to play with this car and she needs a new home. Car is being sold as is so ask any questions or arrange an inspection before bidding. Successful bidder will be reponsible for picking car up or arranging delivery. Payment shall be through PayPal with a $500.00 deposit due in 2 days. The balance shall be due within 7 days by cash, certified check or cashiers check when vehicle is picked up.On Oct-02-14 at 08:58:06 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been informed that my Plymouth is a Belvedere model and not a Fury assembled at the Newark, NJ plant in 1962 with the triple tail light option. I was told it was a Fury when I bought it some 15 years ago and it had the Fury nameplates on it at that time. Thanks to the eBay members who brought this to my attention. All other aspects of the listing remain the same.
