Local sale price is $6000. I apologize for ending the first listing early.  It was getting too cluttered with updates and I needed to add more updated information and pictures. Up for sale is a 1999 Honda Civic DX hatchback in factory Milano red . I purchased in November 2012 from Scott Honda of West Chester with the intention of modding it, but have since decided to sell instead.  I have the title in hand along with all paperwork and window sticker sheet given to me by the dealer when I purchased the car. There is a $2000 non refundable deposit due via PayPal within 24 hours of auction's end.  I do not anticipate the final bid to be below $2000.  If it does end below $2000, I will arrange the deposit amount with the winner after the auction is over.  Please read the entire description before sending a message.  Your question will probably be answered somewhere in it. Please do not offer trades.  I am not at all interested. Located less than one hour from Philadelphia, PA. Up for sale is a clean title, 2 owner, manual transmission, 1999 Honda Civic DX hatchback in excellent condition with 58000 original miles. This is not your typical riced out, ghetto, rust bucket Civic that overpopulates Craigslist, Ebay, Autotrader, etc. This car does have air conditioning (it's cold) and power steering. Everything on the car is stock except for a few items. 1. Alpine head unit.  Car will come wired for an amplifier mounted to the back seat, but the amplifier itself is NOT included.  Speakers and subwoofer is also NOT included.  All stereo work was done by World Wide Stereo Montgomeryville. 2. Center arm rest 3. EM1 cluster matched to the original cluster.  Original cluster reads 54xxx miles, which I still have.  I bought the EM1 cluster that had a reading of 54xxx miles on it      and installed it when I reached the exact same mileage number on the original cluster.  Neither cluster has not been tampered with in any way and both clusters work 100% fine. 4.  Audiovox basic alarm with aftermarket keyless entry.  Installed by World Wide Stereo and works fantastic. I did not drive this car once in wet/snowy weather during my short ownership.  It doesn't look like the owner before me did either.  There is no rust in the quarter panels. However, there is a small bit of rust on the door edge as seen in the picture. There are a few cosmetic flaws on the car which I have tried my best to picture.  They include marks on the front and rear bumper, one dent on the passenger door and A pillar.  Other scratches are shown in the picture.  The spoiler has dents in it and has been (horribly) touched up.   Headlights are genuine Stanley and are covered with Weathertech LampGards.  The tail lights are also genuine Stanley The interior is clean.  I am not a smoker or a pet owner.  I also do not eat in any of the cars I own.  There is some unknown white flaking on the dash above the gauge cluster. Mechanically, the car is good.  The engine runs well.  The clutch is smooth and engagement is good.  The car revs fine, shifts fine, and brakes fine.  No rattles that I'm aware of. The car passed PA state inspection and emissions from a Honda dealership with no issues in October of 2013.  Multi point inspection was completed during this time and results were virtually perfect, aside from the rear drum brake linings which may need to be serviced soon.  I have recently discovered some brake squeak when braking in reverse.  This is probably the rear brake shoes needing replacement as noted by the dealer when the car passed inspection last year.  There is no squeak when braking while the car is moving forward.  At least not during my drives this week.  MPG on the car is excellent.  30 mpg combine with 34 mpg on the highway.  I have not verified this personally, but Honda seems to understate the actual gas mileage on their cars.  It would not surprise me if this car did 37+ on the highway. All inspections and transactions will take place at the local police station.  Final sale will be done at the local Tag Agency obviously.  No exceptions. The head unit it is installed and is capable of powering speakers by itself once it is wired to them.
