Up for auction is a nice classic 66 Mustang in Tahoe Turquoise with matching Turquoise & White Pony interior. It has a rebuilt 200ci straight 6 engine with a rebuilt automatic transmission. Runs and drives great and gets good mileage as well (I drove it from Atlanta, Ga to Montgomery Al on one tank of gas)! From what I was told, I am the fourth owner! The second owner did most of the restoration to get it where it is now. Besides the rebuilt engine and tranny, it also has an upgraded aluminum radiator, new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fluids, filters, brakes, shocks, floor pans, gas tank and some body work & paint. It had the usual rust spots around the trunk and bottom front corner of the passenger door. These were worked on and painted but not a professional job though it is decent. There are also some surface bubbles starting on the quarter panels also. I have just replaced the within the last month 4 new tires, the starter and the battery. The car is a great daily driver or can be driven while further restoring for show. There is a newer Sony stereo/cd player installed below the glovebox so as not to cut the original dash. It does not have a/c or any power options. The third owner bought and installed some new gauges but after putting the dash back together some lights were out. I recently took the dash out to replace the bulbs which all work now, but after reinstalling the dash, the gauges don't work! I checked the fuses which are good, so further troubleshooting is required which I don't have the knowledge or time to do now. The car is able to be driven and I trust it to go anywhere as it is. I also have 2 sets of hubcaps for it - the original set that came with the car and another period correct set of wire caps as well as some other miscellaneous extra parts & a cover included. I have a clean & clear title and am selling it at no reserve! I think the winning bidder will be very happy with the car especially for the price.
