This is by far among the most fun of cars I’ve owned to drive and will never be duplicated. This Z has been very well maintained over the year and ready for infinite classic driving enjoyment (I did not include all oil and fluid changes): 72,679 (10/2008) $2036.97: Check compression/ok, check timing chain/ok. Rebuilt carbs. Installed electronic ignition. Adjusted valves. Replaced temperature gauge sender, housing and thermostat. Repaired short in tach wiring, switch indicator lamps and dash lights and running lights. Radiator/coolant treatment. 72,839 (3/2009): New Tires 72,860 (4/2009) $1404.61: Cleaned varnish on carb needle and seat. Replaced oil pressure sending unit. Replaced right axle U-joints. Replaced both rear struts. PA state inspection. 6/2010: New mechanical fuel pump 73,494 (9/2010) $411.76: Front and rear brake hoses/bleed system. PA state inspection. 74,716 (4/2013) $74.19: Replace brake booster vacuum hose. PA state inspection. (4/2014) $121.09: New battery 75,491 (5/2014) $164.64: Replace windshield washer pump. Replace miscellaneous heater hoses. PA state inspection. 75,794 (7/2014) $246.57: Replaced heater hoses and repaired vacuum leak. The repaint shows imperfections and seems brighter/bolder than the faded original orange. I had Datsun and Z pin stripes removed, and this chipped off some paint as seen in the pictures. Other imperfections include paintwork under rear spoiler and above rear wheel as pictured. Some body repair is present and I pictured the areas that I’m aware of. The car is sound structurally. Other things to be sorted include a hard-to-pull choke at far end. The cables are new and nothing seems to be holding it back. I have to use full strength to get it all the way out or otherwise the car will take a long time to start. Also pictured is a missing or broken clamp that engages the heater. It can be operated by reaching down manually but not from the dash sliding control. The cable from the dash control seems in tact and working. It has been suggested that the tachometer be rebuilt, as it is not accurate. There is no radio installed. Rear hatch does not stay open (replace lifters). Owners manual and service documentation included. Clear Pennsylvania title in my name. I will assist with your shipping company if applicable.
