This is one of the last 1931 Oakland’s built, sold and was titled a 1932. It was purchased and 200 hundred miles later the owner was no longer able to drive. It then sat in a dry garage until the 70’s when it was purchased by the second owner and driven to the extent it had 14,000 miles on the odometer. In 1980 it was parked due to the death of that owner’s friend, who was a traveling companion. I bought the Oakland in March of 2012 at which time I took three months to clean and refresh the fuel system from Carburetor to tank. It now has less than 15,000 miles on it and runs great. It had been repainted in the 70’s. I relined the brakes and had the carburetor rebuilt. There are a number of spare parts and extras that come with the car. It isn’t perfect but is all there and a great driver just the way it is.
