Vehicle Detail

hey, they aren't making these anymore, apparently from the looks of NADA values. This car was born in St Louis, resided in NE Arkansas all of it's life, where the original owner-a bull rancher, got trampled to death. Legend has it the car sat for over 30 years. Weather got the best of the paint and quarters, trk and floor, and interior but the frame rails are very nice and the trim and small details are all still present and excellent. Someone nabbed the back seat bottom, carb, some frt engine accessories, and the 8-3/4 3.23 sure grip center section. This car was special ordered per the fender tag. The mileage shown is claimed original but I would never advertise that as true. What is for sure is that the vin tag, fender tag, core support, trk frame, and engine numbers all match and are clean as verified by the Kansas highway patrol where the car is currently registered. Wearing its original paint, this one is a prime candidate for restoration. It's not a job for the faint of heart, so you must know...before you bid...that this car does not DRIVE, it will need a full restoration! It must have new full quarters, trk floor and drivers floor pan to be a solid starting point. As stated earlier the frame is wonderful all the way back. Someone did a black sheep Chris Farley job on the drivers door so I have a replacement door and left 68 fender for the car that goes with the auction. Dont worry, the door frame or hinges are not jacked up or bent, just the door. The front bumper is driver quality and the rear bumper may shine up to be driver quality but really needs rechromed. All chrome trim including around the back window is present and in great shape. Windows all roll up and down, glass is good. Rear GTX tail panel, 150mph speedo, frt GTX only grille, GTX wood over glove box is all present and excellent. I have a mediocre and a nice set of headlight surrounds, and the original headlights. The remote mirror and super commando pie plate I have as well but are not pictured. Original wheels need to be refinished but are all straight and very usable. The drivers side original exhaust is still intact from the downpipe to the chrome tip. The 70's polyglas tires that are still on the car hold air with exception of the left rear. The car rolls well and brakes and steers fine. For the reserve price I am setting this is one of the last muscle car deals to be found. All of you know and can feel that these unrestored cars are fewer and farther between than ever before. Especially with the original hp2 440 it was born with intact. 500.00 deposit is nonrefundable so if you have questions, please, ask, because I will get, and keep the deposit if you want to just come kick tires. What is pictured is what it is. You should have your plans in your head on how to attack this project from the time you bid. If you invest wisely, you will be driving around in a True GTX with an interesting color combination, hopefully not having more than 20-25k invested and be worth upwards of 40k if done right. The values will go up until all us mopar guys kick the bucket and that will be a while lol. Then they'll still go up as this was an era that will never be duplicated. Imitated maybe, by new technology, but not duplicated. NO, the 57k original mile black sport satellite and 69 coronet in the pictures are not for sale and do not come with the GTX :)
