Every ol' Caddy has a story, here's mine: my Dad kept this car since 1995, 'horse-traded" it, I think! He loved Cadillac. Kept a few. Drove until the snow flew, then parked them for the winter. He never sped, never smoked in them, took life easy while driving. You know how they "float" on the highway! I love that feeling! Dad passed on in 2007, so I inherited it. I planned to drive it across Canada, but that didnt happen. I drove it for a month in summer 2007. As I said, it floated along. The electrical was going (no odometre, no guages working & I think 2 of the 4 windows operate). But we had radio, power antenna, sunroof, seats! The interior is original, fading, cracking. some rust on lower panels. The glass is good all around. The 6.0 l, v-8 got me around, didnt blow smoke, but still waasnt so nice on gas milage. The brakes were getting a little spongy when i parked it. I got a rad flush, topped it to -40*c, drove it up on planks, and parked it. So 7 years parked. Someone was interested in it last year and started it up without too much fuss.I want this car to go to someone who will appreciate it for its beauty. The car is resting at grandma's house in British Columbia, Canada. I live in Japan. The car is ready to be transferred over to its new owner, but dont ask for more pics. Gramma cant do digital. Anyway, those of you who "know" Caddy know there's much more value here. Car was stored under carport for 7 years. On planks. White walls are weather-checked but all holding air. Clear title. Canadian import. Buyer will be responsible for all cost incurred to ship vehicle. Will assist where possible, but it will be the buyers responsibility to arrange preferred shipment of vehicle.
